    As expected when Derek Falvey has as much power as he does. It’s unbelievable he’s going to lead a full rebuild in year 10 of his tenure. We have been talking ball on this website for over a decade now… I have never been more disinterested in the team.

    I’m not going to pretend to know if this will be a good hire or not. What this tells me is Falvey doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with his system and that’s a scary thought.

    You're at least $20 million short on that contract. You really think he's worth $2 million more per year than Christian Vazquez when he signed with the Twins at age 32 in 2023? Catchers that can hit at all are rarities in the game.

    I would as well, but I don’t think the Wilfs have the guts to fire Kwesi before his extension kicks in… And it’s an embarrassment that Falvey is allowed to lead a full rebuild of the Twins in year 10 of his tenure

    We have been playing all year with basically 2 usable CBs. Jeff Okudah per PFF is the worst graded CB in the NFL, so that's a major downgrade from Gilmore and Griffin last year. As a result, we are forced to play Metellus out of position as nickel CB. Dallas Turner is a major downgrade from Van Ginkel... He's lucked into a couple of coverage sacks and that's it. Not having a quality MLB 2 on roster... We have felt the pain of not having Cashman out there and watching Pace whiff on tackles multiple times per game. We spent all of this money to beef up interior pass rush, and neither Allen or Hargrave have performed better than our existing guy Redmond. Harry the Hitman is a shell of his former self and playing way too often for a guy at his career stage.

    Well, old friend Ty France has a strikeout in the 2025 world series, but it's not exactly fair to him coming up cold off the bench with 2 strikes. He worked the count full so I'll give him that
