    This was easily foreseeable early in the offseason during arbitration tenders. It all began with tendering Larnach, then compounding the issue by signing DH/part time 1B Josh Bell. Larnach has been doing fine, but I think a good portion of fans would have taken the easy exit ramp last winter. If the intention was to bring back Larnach, then I fail to understand why we targeted Roden last July in the Varland trade.

    That wipeout slider and 96 MPH heat will absolutely work in MLB.

    I'll be more optimistic when we begin to shuffle out the current core that has done nothing but disappoint since 2024, and usher in a new core of young, athletic players. I look forward to a potential E-Rod - Buxton - Jenkins OF later this season, and Culpepper at SS. I don't know if there are enough younger arms since we stock piled AAA with 30+ year olds, but that would also be nice to see.

    OT is a sneaky need for us at 18 overall. It wouldn't surprise me if they future proofed the position by taking one. Plus, the Darrisaw situation is still very weird. I've read that he still has limitations 18+ months after the surgery. He might not be the same player moving forward.

    An exciting debut for Priellipp. I hope he stays with the MLB team. You can see the potential with Rojas, but he’s a little more raw than Priellipp. Last night was the first game I’ve watched in a couple of weeks. Keep up the youth movement and the Twins will keep my interest.

    Day before the draft, "My Guys" ... RB Jeremiyah Love - I think he has Adrian Peterson type upside. My favorite player in the whole draft class WR Omar Cooper Jr - He played a huge part in Indiana winning the national championship IOL Emmanuel Pregnon - An easy 2nd contract type of player for an NFL team. Day 1 starter DT Caleb Banks - That type of size and athleticism is hard to find LB Jacob Rodriguez - Dude was all over the field for Texas Tech LB Josiah Trotter - 20 years old with NFL pedigree CB D'Angelo Ponds - I don't care if he's small he's a baller CB Chris Johnson - Lock down outside CB S Dillion Thieneman - I believe it when the media says he's a seamless transition from Harry the Hitman
