  1. Defense has been awesome. Need to capitalize here
  2. They’re bringing back Fear Factor? lol
  3. Addison with a brutal drop on a deep ball
  4. McCarthy missing wide open Addison and Jefferson. Those should be automatic for NFL caliber QBs
  5. Given Joe's business success in other family ventures, he very likely said something he shouldn't have publicly back in late July when these mystery investors were brought to our attention.
  6. No reason to discuss further when we're living in completely different worlds.
  7. If the Pohlads never have to announce the minority investors they won’t. I don’t believe for a second it’s taken months for MLB to approve them. When Marc Lore and A Rod needed minority investors for the Timberwolves they were announced within a week. Just a tiny bit of critical thinking leads you to the Pohlads lying about everything happening right now.
  8. TreVeyon Henderson was a guy I was all in on the Vikings drafting. Would have taken him over Donovan Jackson at 24
  9. Falvey is finally starting to build the gap between himself and the Pohlad family with his recent quotes. “Unless I’m told otherwise” being a huge indicator when discussing keeping Lopez/Buxton/Ryan. Spoiler… He already has been told otherwise so he’s making it known if it were up to him he would keep them and add to the roster. When the opposite happens, we know he was told to do so.
  10. The plan is staring you in the face. Depends if you’re accepting of it or not. The Pohlads took private equity money to get out of their crippling debt. This isn’t a long term partnership. Private equity needs an ROI in a short amount of time. Theyre going to spend the next year or two making the franchise more valuable to hit their desired market rate near $2 billion. Private equity slashes expenses to skeleton levels to show profitability. Fan interest is at a 25 year low. There’s literally nothing they can do to spike attendance #s. They’re still in limbo with TV broadcasts. So why would the Pohlads invest any further in the organization? They’re already hated so who cares if that lasts another year before the lockout.
  11. I would have done just about anything to trade up for him. I saw RG3 in Jayden Daniels’ future sadly. Dude was and still is so skinny for a 6’3” QB.
  12. This may be the worst TNF matchup of the year. Couldn’t be less interested
  13. To be perfectly honest I don’t care how much the bullpen costs. More money theoretically means more certainty they won’t be a complete disaster. But they are kings of SSS for a reason. All it takes for your plan to go south is that closer, set up guy, or lefty having a bad season. The odds of the Twins finding 4 quality relievers in 1 offseason is slim to none. And slim is leaving town. It took them 4+ years to build an above average bullpen before they gutted it.
  14. Congratulations Pohlad family. You have alienated a home grown, star player who wanted to remain a Twin for life. This feels like a precursor to a trade... Dan Hayes isn't the type of beat reporter who writes pure speculation without doing a lot of confirmation in the background. Just like when we heard Correa was willing to waive his NTC, and weird! He was traded the next day.
  15. The strategy is pushed down from the Wilfs for sure… But they both have full autonomy to sign and draft the players. KOC without question had the authority to choose the people in the QB room and he really screwed it up this season.
  16. What you described is the single biggest flaw with our “competitive rebuild” strategy. Kwesi and KOC thought they could have it both ways - winning right now and developing basically a rookie QB. I am willing to bet this is the sole reason for everything feeling off this season. Tensions have been rising because the roster is full of veterans who can’t afford a year or 2 waiting to see if McCarthy is the real deal.
  17. The earliest the Packers can get out of Love’s deal without destroying their salary cap is 2027. Good luck to them.
  18. They fell right into the Kirk Cousins trap. Hook, line and sinker. I looked at the Packers’ Reddit page this morning out of curiosity and they’re in full blown denial about Love. Placing all of the blame on LeFluer. The cherry on top is if they actually fire a great HC over admitting Love is middle of the road at best.
  19. All you need to do is be the Gophers football coach and you'll be extended in perpetuity if you finish above .500 in a season.
  20. I bailed on this game an hour ago and it still looks like the most boring game of the season.
  21. Agreed, but I am skeptical now that they extended him before the season. Why they did that before we knew how McCarthy and Turner would turn out is one of life's many mysteries.
  22. This right here is why Kwesi is a major problem as our GM long term.

  24. Rooting for the meteor tonight
  25. This has been your weekly ban the tush push update
