Hope he stays hot during his spot starts. I could see a scenario later this year where Brooks is still struggling, Culpepper gets called up, and Gray remains as the bench player.

I think I would keep trying with Brooks Lee at this point. But it’s absolutely go time for him. If the struggles continue he could get Wally Pipp’d by Culpepper in May.

Slippery slope is a classic MN sports fallacy. If we extend Joe Mauer we simply can’t afford a team around him. If Kyler Murray does well for the Vikings, we’re gonna have to pay him $50 million a year.

The full terms of most FA contracts is funny money. Kirko is taking it to the extreme with this contract. In traditional Kirko fashion I think there’s a little bit of guaranteed money pushed to 2027? Like $8 million or something. He just loves holding a team over a barrel because of guaranteed money the following year.

Just got out of a meeting and saw the low light of Caratini getting thrown out at 3rd. He might be the slowest player on the team and that's saying a lot. My goodness.
