  1. Joe Ryan's real thoughts were documented during the 2025 season. His comments at the end being "happy with the direction" of the team is complete BS that his agent told him to say while he worked on a trade out of here. The only way he signs an extension here is if the Twins pay him obscene amounts of money which is never going to happen.
  2. Flacco understood the assignment and keeps feeding JaMarr Chase
  3. Cody, give up any hope you have in a comedy writing career. Holy cow this is awful.
  4. Can't take the bulldog out of a pitcher no matter how old they get
  5. Bengals are hanging in there with their newly acquired geezer Joe Flacco at QB.
  6. I'm not ready to go that route yet. We still have 12 games left in the season and the NFC is wide open. The Vikings have done crazier things like getting to the NFC Championship game with Keenum... It sucks that Kwesi/KOC misjudged the situation and didn't hedge their bet at the most important position.
  7. $550 mill payroll with the luxury tax. If people don’t think a lockout is happening in 2027 I have ocean front property in Iowa to sell them
  8. The ALCS is way more intriguing of a series IMO
  9. The Cubs would have made this NLCS more interesting. Brewers gonna get swept
  10. If it does turn out that McCarthy isn’t ready this season to lead a (on paper) better roster than the 14 win 2024 team, we will always wonder if we should have re-signed Darnold, or signed Jones/Rodgers for cheap.
  11. Love this sentence. Says it all better than I did in my post. That is the biggest divide with Vikings fans right now. And the biggest mistake Kwesi/KOC made this year. I do believe Kwesi tried to bridge the gap by retaining Daniel Jones. Danny Dimes made the correct decision to sign with Indy. You can’t put a price tag on opportunity, and he knew he could beat out Anthony Richardson for the starting gig there.
  12. A manager can deviate from the spreadsheet?
  13. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a sweep in the NL but I’ll give Milwaukee the benefit of the doubt they’ll win 1 game
  14. Dave Roberts didn’t get the memo to take his starters out early
  15. Tennessee’s gotta start hiring guys from PFF, or anyone that has walked by McVay or Shanahan in the hallway. It’s the only way to succeed in the modern NFL
  16. I’m just going to talk about the elephant in the room. The Twins are one of 4 MLB franchises that have had managers who are all white in their history. Do you think it’s coincidence the first 2 announced names we’ve interviewed are Ramon Vazquez and James Rowson? With Torii Hunter being discussed heavily here as a candidate? You’re not living in 2025 if you don’t think that’s being considered.
  17. I’ve read a lot of comments hoping it’s an experienced guy who will push back on Falvey’s ideas. The reality is that’s not going to happen. Ideally Falvey is not in charge to lead a rebuild in year 10 but here we are. The hire is going to be as comfortable as a warm dinner on a chilly rainy night like tonight.
  18. If Milwaukee can’t win this game it’s gonna be 5 games or less in this series
  19. Same with Jeffers too. Ryan would get $25-30 million per year and Jeffers would get closer to $20 million if they were FAs this winter.
  20. Didn't take long for Jomboy to break down this bonkers play.
  21. KOC deserves the benefit of the doubt after getting more out of journeyman QBs than 90% of coaches in the NFL. The problem is, like you pointed out, KOC/Kwesi thinking McCarthy was ready to lead a veteran team ready to win right now. And that’s really where the debate between fans is stuck. There’s a subset of Vikings fans that wants McCarthy to get reps this year, record be damned. I’m in a subset of Vikings fans that wants to win, QB development be damned.
  22. I'm thrilled that Polanco looks healthy this year and producing BIG time in the playoffs. What is there to be learned for the Twins from this trade? Absolutely nothing. Keeping Polanco wasn't going to stop this organization from swirling down the drain.
  23. After 6 weeks, every team in the NFC North has a winning record. No other division can say the same. We knew it was going to be a heavyweight fight in this division, and it's living up to the hype
  24. The consequence of pulling Snell when he was absolutely locked in to complete the game
  25. Unbelievable by Snell. One of the most dominant starting pitching performances in years. Let him complete the shutout!
