    I am (hopefully) predicting the Twins will go for Dougy over Molly. Both Kelly and Gardy were relatively young when they took over the manager position, with positive results. Gene Glynn is out because it is very hard to attach a "y" to the end of his name.

    At this point I hope the organization would just try and give the Rochester fans a playoff competitive team this year. They've suffered as long as we have and at least they have a shot. Maybe best for the prospects to be a part of a winning team rather than this sad mess. Play the season out with whatever we aren't able to trade off. Clean house in the off season. TheTwins coaching staff and front office needs a major airing out not just another reshuffling. This fan's interest level is at an all-time low. Hopefully just the darkness before the dawn.

    Not a fan of Jack Morris as an announcer. His delivery is just so dry and monotone. With Tom Kelly we at least get some insight and quirky commentary to go with his drone.

    Postgame, Pelfrey sounded pretty much resigned to whatever fate he has coming. He sounded as discouraged as I have ever heard any player. Hope he is given and accepts a chance to work things out in Rochester.

    It was a total train wreck but a very entertaining half inning. Sometimes things just go terribly wrong and when you think they can't get any worse, they do. "An affront to all things baseball"? ... No, it wasn't. It was something you will probably never see again and it was great.

    I can't imagine a place for Worley on any team's 25 man roster right now. He needs to (hopefully) work things out in AAA. If that means taking a risk losing him, so be it. I hope Vance can rediscover his mojo.

    I love that players get to choose their walk up music. My son and I regularly play a little game of "what would my walk up song be?". Totally disagree that honoring vets by asking them to raise the flag in anyway honors war. It honors the individual who served and those they served with. Don't allow politics to take away from their sacrifice. I would love to eliminate the "Everybody Clap Your Hands" meme. It is probably the most annoying addition to the game in the last decade. Also ban "The Wave"- throw out any instigators regardless of age. That'll teach 'em. One more thing... throwing an opponent's homerun ball back onto the field should also be prohibited. It is stupid, childish, Cubs fan-like behavior. Why should a person be allowed to throw a baseball back on to the field yet throwing anything else onto the field will get you ejected? Stop it.

    I was just sitting here thinking... AJ might add an element that this team is sorely missing. He surely would give some grit and vocal leadership to the team. Platoon with Pinto and allow Mauer to spend most of his time at 1st. Might be worth throwing some $$ at for a one year deal. Am I nuts?

    Press conference at 2:30PM. I speculate Gardy/Andy gone. To me it would be an absolute PR boner to announce their resigning the day after they finish up their 3rd consecutive 95+ loss season.

    Obviously there just wasn't a big demand for Morneau's services. The Twins got some salary relief and a warm body. They can resign Morneau at the end of the season if they want to go that direction. Too bad, but it is what it is. I wish the best to Justin. Class guy.

    It is not accepted. That is why there will be suspensions handed down by the league. In competitive situations emotions run high. People do irrational things. There are sanctions. What do you want to see happen?
