    I cant take it. Buxton has to be dropped to 7th or lower in the order. Dont send him down yet, but holy hell is that frustrating to watch.

    Our bunting still sucks, but I like the low strikeout rate of our batters and our ability to put the ball on the ground instead of constantly hitting pop ups.

    Great game. The elephant in the room has to be Buxton. He is reaching yet again for that outside pitch and his bat speed sucks.

    What a breath of fresh air with the first two wins this season. I believe that Castro has been a huge factor with pitch placement. One of my main concern is exactly how long do we leave Buxton in there? Obviously do not send him down, but I was just curious what a good time frame is regarding this situation.

    The amount of walks we have taken so far this year is very encouraging. Think it is related to the new hitting coach or just terrible pitching?

    He will hit 2 homers by April 15th.

    I was just curious what the reasoning on why he was sent down in place of Grossman? Are we that hurting for outfielders?

    What is scary is that the month of April can really decide our season pretty quickly.

    Every year I am optimistic about the start of the season. You have to be when you are a fan or you would hate this team. I like the schedule and I believe we will sweep against the Royals.

    Glad to see see the Twins scoring some runs but let us not forget last and if I remember correctly the year before. Spring training really shows nothing IMO. Pitchers are simply stretching out their arms. Park will be playing with a chip on his shoulder though and it would be great to see him hit 30+ dingers this year, but the problem I see with this guy is his defense is absolute ****.

    Another topic blaming Mauer for the Twins having a losing season. Mauer has zero to do with how the Twins decide how to spend money on making this team better. Why woukd you cut him? Do you really think this team would in turn start to pick up a bunch of players simply because you rid yourself of his payroll? Not even close.

    Name one time in Twins history have we ever paid a guy 25 million for one year. Never will happen.

    This team has so many glaring holes that I am not even optimistic for 2017 or 2018. Our farm system so far hasn't produced any standout players except for maybe Kepler. We continue to bring up players to early or hell maybe management has no clue on when to bring a player up. This team is so far away from being a contender that it makes me want to vomit.

    Our outfield has been terrible for about 3 years now, our pitching has been terrible for about 3 now, and our defense has been terrible for about 3 years now. This team is going to take a bit to turn around and With our top prospects looking like garbage I do not think this train wreck will be fixed for at least 3 years. Trade away are logjam at 3rd and 2nd to get some prospects who hopefully work out.

    I am going to say this again, you need to fire the base coaches or whoever has taught these guys about running the bases. The Ploof play was not as bad as the others I have seen but I havent seen this ****ty of base running in a long time and firmly believe this has to do with the coaches and less to do with the players.

    We are now in the teens when it comes to games back to take our division. At least it sounds better than twenty games back.

    I am no expert when it comes to baseball, but is it normal for a team to constantly be sending players back to the minors only to call them back after a month or so and then do it again? Is it because management is failing to understand when a player is ready to be called up? I would say simply DH Sano for the rest of the year so he just has to worry about smashing the ball.

    A good coach can make their team give 100% every game. In no way should we just hope to tank and give up on the season.

    This team is such a head scratcher. We have owned one of the best teams in the AL. We are bashing the ball now and my only debbie downer moment is if this continues we may not be sellers by the trade deadline.

    You can not send Buxton down yet again. The management should just tell him that he is safe for the year and to work on his swing and fielding. This up and down bull**** that management is doing is hurting these young players. The season is toast and now it is simply time to see what the youngens can do.

    Buxton is not improving at all IMO. He has 3 strikeouts in his last 7 AB against one of the worst teams in baseball. He is hovering around .200 which is good if you are a pitcher in the National league. My guess is he bats around .210-.220.

    I have a feeling I will need a case of beer to make it through this game.

    The constant bashing has also made me shy away from posting. For an average poster who tosses something up that a few members dont agree with you tend to get bullied that you simply give up trying to engage in anything. Reminds me of the ESPN message boards.
