    Sell what really? Dozier is batting .225 and has sub par defense for a second baseman. Which means you probably wont get anything substantial in return. Lynn, ordozzi, and Rodney. Pretty junk pitchers with the exception of the overrated closer position. We wont get anything that helps in 2019. The on only thing the Twins could get any decent return on is Escobar and it would be a step backwards if we trade him. I will say it again.....the Twins make no moves that gets rid of any of their current starters with the exception of Rodney. This team is now in rebuild mode and if you remember from multiple rebuild years it lasts awhile.

    I will say it again, no way Dozier is traded Twins ship is sinking.

    He wont be traded. We have seen it time and time again when it comes to the Twins.

    Most people are forgetting that even when Dozier was having a good year we couldn't move him. We are not going to get much for him.

    I dont get the deal with trading Gibson at this point. Sure his trade value is high but out of everyone except Berrios he is obviously our number 2 starter. We need help when it comes to pitching but do we really need to toss all of our key players into the mix and get just prospects? We need pitching and he has established himself as a decent pitcher. The obvious trade bait would be Dozier, Or, Escobar, and Rodney. Sure you could dump Lynn, but you aren't going to get anything of value for him.

    It was a great turnaround season. Molitor will be gone which is a good thing. Most of us knew we didn't have a chance against the Yankees but who cares. We have a good core team and just need to add some pitching to compete for the division.

    This is a reason why Molitor should not have his contract renewed after this year and probably won't. Gee should of never came out of the game and he has no clue on how to utilize a bullpen.

    We play the Yankees in the WC. We dont have to worry about a rotation.

    I have been a huge Debbie downer when it has come to Buxton, but he has surged and with that the Twins have really come around. Who would of thought the Twins would be right in the thick of things in mid August.

    I was all for trading Kintzler but we hardly got anything for him. Are the Twins planning to dump payroll and spend nothing yet again because that is the way it looks from my porch.

    We hope we get a decent pitcher from the prospects that we get for him. This team is 3 starters and 4 bullpen arms from being a contender in the central division and after we lose Santana (which we will according to my source which is logic) we will need 4 starters.

    This is a major shift in previous years when we simply laid down before the deadline. Good to see management making moves to restock our depleted farm system.

    Baseball is decided in July and August. The Twins never had a team that was going to be able to grind through these months due to their pitching. We had our fun and now it is time to be a realist again. Trade Santana, Dozier, and Garcia. If you can unload some others than do that too. It is time to wake up from this fantasy world were we put together just enough to hang in there until July baseball. We need to boost our farm system and hopefully in 2019 we have a team that can actually compete against teams with winning records.

    Terrible move and it makes me cringe thinking that even with the change of management it virtually is the same.

    So is Colon considered second tier? Twins aren't going to do anything but spend as little as possible for players like this. Dont hold your breath.

    Colon will easily give up 7 runs against the Yankees. Dude is toast and the Twins should be ashamed of themselves for this kind of move.

    I love day dreaming about picking up players of this caliber but that is all it is... just a dream. With the ace like Colon, I think we can come to the conclusion that the Twins will not be making any substantial moves in obtaining quality pitchers.

    Are only option to replace Gibson is an overweight senior. Stick Gibson in the bullpen since our bullpen needs help too.

    They are not in the postseason mix because we have to many holes to fill. Trade Dozier, Santana, and Buxton and bring in some much needed pitching. Our farm system is so depleted that we need to be aggressive on obtaining prospects.
