    Ah, Dig Dug. Loved Dig Dug. So, in Portland, they have this great retro video arcade. I visited my best friend last year and we went there and played for maybe 5 hours. It was a blast. Give me a game system with a joystick and a red button any day!

    I could play Defender forever. I'd never run out of lives. And it's the one game that never shows up on the retro Atari games systems they put out. I think my mom still has my original system in storage somewhere along with my remote controlled R2D2 :-)

    I had scarlet fever when I was a kid. going bald was inevitable for me, so I embraced it. Figured it looked better than letting my hair grow with a big bald spot on top to go along with the ever receding hair line. Good thing I have the head for being bald.

    I haven't needed a comb or brush for over 10 years. Last time I needed one was to run it through my flat top so the hair would stand up. Had the flat top for a few years until I just decided to shave my head. Been doing that ever since.

    There are people who work in my building, along with a few others, that have full on mullets. They literally never left the 80s. It's awesome, yet disturbing at the same time.

    Seriously, when I said San Francicso Vegetarian's mascot, I had no idea it was Stanford's mascot. Funny since Stanford is like a 40 minute drive to San Fran.

    Yeah, I like Coors FIELD a lot. One of the best bang for you buck, seating wise, is 200 level seating, 1st row just off home plate. Great, great view of the field. Every bit as good as lower level, if not actually better. I made the mistake of buying the same number seat at target once and it felt like I was watching the game from from the moon because turns out 200 level isn't 2nd level, but much higher up.

    When people wail about how much a player is getting paid relative to how much they think he should be getting paid, it always seems to be when he's getting paid a ton. It's never when he's getting paid relatively little (in baseball terms). If the outrage is about performance and pay not being equal, why not also complain when a guy is worth 40M+ a year and is getting paid 6M? No one was howling about under-paid Mauer was when he was worth almost 50M in 2009 but got paid 10M, or when he was worth 35M in 2008 and got 6M. Or when he was worth about 28M and got paid less than a million. Where was the pay to performance outrage then? Anywho, when he leaves, they can use that money to get two to three middle of the road starters. Or, better yet, so we can overpay someone else. So we have that to look forward to.

    Your game Intros are awesome!!!! If you haven't been there yet, check out Camden Yards. Probably my favorite.

    Well, that's not true. Dozier was drafted at 22 and the two top 100 lists Polanco made were both pre-2016 (BA and MLB) when he was 22. Unless there are others you're talking about other than BP, BA and MLB dot com. In any event, if you follow the conversation, this has been discussed at length and like I said earlier, the amount of posts I've written on this is was out of proportion to the amount I care about it. If people want to keep hashing it out, they can do it without me participating.

    That's interesting because people have always said he's an exceptionally smart base runner. Fangraphs has him as above average base runner as well even without the speed. In fact, they have him as the 5th best baserunner among 1Bs. Not bad for an older player who used to play catcher. There are 3 current Twins who are rated better. Dozier, Buxton and Rosario. Do we want Buxton and Rosario batting in the top 2 spots? He's baseball smart and has good instincts. But yeah, not fast. I'll take the guy with 80 or more OBP points getting more PAs than a fast guy with an OBP 80 points lower.
