  1. Deep farm, yes tired hearing this. Nice seeing Keaschall doing well. Given the recent years though, we expect him to regress in his second year to a struggling below average player.
  2. They should reduce ticket prices significantly until play improves.
  3. Shouldn’t the law of averages suggest this time we have a solid hitter, both now and in the future? Julien and Miranda not withstanding, Lewis may yet arrive as an elite hitter, though the clock is ticking on him.
  4. Hey, we are only on pace to lose 88 this year , don’t short change this highly uncompetitive team.
  5. What little offense it has been, 4 hits in two days? That seems not possible for an mlb team.
  6. I read this story and comments fast, but did I miss something or was Royce Lewis never mentioned?
  7. One wonders that if Keaschall doesn’t get injured in April how different the trade deadline might have been.
  8. I like your term ‘squinting,’ but are we squinting in bright light or in the dark?
  9. The bright side: They have positioned themselves such that they cannot finish in 6th place.
  10. if I am seeing the box score results correct, in the 2nd Castro swung 1st pitch and flied out. In the 4th, in one pitch grounded out. In the 6th, he actually took 2 pitches to line out. Impressive plate discipline.
  11. Not sure my California math is correct, double checking. It’s kinda hard to add up all these runs against, but I think it’s also 135 runs over 16 games.
  12. Twins have given up 99 runs over the last twelve games, a bit over 8 runs per game if my California math is accurate. This is a good time to lock Baldelli down for another year.
  13. A Graphene roof will be the answer in the relatively near future. 200 times the strength of steal, and its weight covering the stadium would only be a few pounds. Very expensive to do now, but in a few years it won’t be. The next stadium built in this country needing or wanting a roof will likely have a roof infused with at least a small amount of Graphene.
  14. I’ve seen him touch it twice, others have to have seen that as well. I a not a swing expert by any means, but his mechanics look to me like he is trying to protect a hamstring or quad issue. Does not look good. I assume the coaches are asking him to tell them everything and whether he is or not is, well, it is up to him.
  15. My bad, I need to edit my comment—…Through 64 pitches…..
  16. Watching Ober today through 40 pitches and I’m thinking this story needs some serious editing.
  17. Sadly agree. Nothing much impressive today, looked like August and September 2024 baseball.
  18. Royce sure surprised me, at the end of 2023 playoffs and all, thought he was a piece of magic, but realize now that is not that reality. Great young man, perhaps not that special. Hope he proves me wrong.
  19. Nice story and your graphics really power your writing even more.
  20. Exactly. A .180 hitter standing there admiring his hit. Disgusting. Maybe batting .280, I would still be disgusted, but a bit more tolerant with that average.
