    I went again to the sparsely attended Easter Game. Unfortunately, the “Dance-off” has returned.

    For old guys, it’s nicer to be able to read MOST of the words and numbers on the screen. The new screens look great! BUT PLEASE, increase the size of the number of the pitch count!!

    The Twins had some questions about Arraez’s health but did not seem to have the concerns other teams had about Correa’s health. After 2-4 seasons, we will know whether the Twins were right.

    Now that MLB has successfully shortened games, you might think fans will be more likely to stick around for the 8th and 9th innings. But I predict - Many Twins fans will still flock to the exits early. It’s a Minnesota tradition. They will give the same excuses : Had to get the kids home to bed (creating another generation of leave-early fans. But wait - last year you left those longer games a half hour later for the same reason; Did MLB impose an earlier bedtime this year?), Had to beat the traffic (even on a sparsely attended weeknight game in April). I’m depressed, the Twins are losing, I can’t watch anymore, it’s those cheap Pohlads … (What??? Go check it out -Yogi said, it ain’t over till it’s over.) Oh No! Emilio Pagan is walking in from the bullpen (OK - I MIGHT give you that one - but he looked pretty good last night in Miami!). Consistently leaving early guarantees missing the most exciting walk-off win you will ever see live. It makes more sense to arrive late than to leave early. Watch innings 3-9 rather than 1-7.

    I don’t understand the complaints about watching baseball in 40 degree weather. It’s not like a January Vikings game below zero at the Old Met. We can dress for 40 degrees, and our toes stay warm. Would you really rather see an August day game at 95 degrees and 90% humidity crammed in with 30,000 other sweaty fans? Don’t be a weather wimp! Dress for the cold and enjoy a great Spring Day for baseball

    Tell me if I figured this out? In a logical world, the answer would be Ober at 4 and then flip a coin. Instead, it looks like M & M and Ober goes to AAA or the pen.

    I thought Spring Training is a place for players to show their skills to the front office and managerial staff who decide how build a team out of those players. Maeda has shown that his skills are not back to what they were. Put him in the pen and start Bailey Ober. Now - What about Tyler Mahle?

    I offer Grant Balfour as my favorite baseball name. Dick Pole is redundant.

    I should never have doubted Israel. The ghosts of Hank Greenberg and Sandy Koufax are turning me into a pillar of salt.

    Wow - you seem to have forgotten much about the Sex Pistols. Go watch the movie “Sid and Nancy”. Their bass player, Sid Vicious, certainly abused his girlfriends, and ultimately killed Nancy. He also tortured and killed animals. The other members were also poorly behaved but to a lesser extent. Their lyrics could be seen as racist (listen to “Bodies”) and homophobic (“Pills”). Trevor Bauer is a minor leaguer of bad behavior compared to The Sex Pistols. Remember my prediction: He will be well behaved in Japan.

    Trevor Bauer is being paid multi-millions by two organizations (one in dollars and one in yen). Back in the 70s, due to bad behavior, the Sex Pistols (rock band) were signed and then fired from multiple record labels. Each time, they pocketed the bonus they had received. It was immortalized in their songs EMI and The Great Rock and Roll Swindle. Their record was ultimately released on Virgin Records, was a big hit and viewed as one of the great all-time rock records. I predict Trevor Bauer will be well behaved in Japan, pitch at an high level and will work his way back to a big MLB contract next year. As a take on the Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bullocks, let’s call it: The Great Baseball Swindle!!

    Before we get real excited, DeLeon was pitching against Team Israel. Let me know if I’m wrong about Israel, but I would think Taiwan and Israel probably edged out Team Botswana and Team Fiji Islands to make it to this tournament.

    That article is so positive (even as qualified), it’s probably destined to be the kiss of death to Miranda’s career. Should have exercised your Miranda right to remain silent.

    There is a recent former Cy Young Award winner that you didn’t include on your list. Available on the cheap. Maybe the Twins are trading some of their starting pitching depth, but it doesn’t make much sense to add an additional arm to the abundant pitching they now possess. Go with what they have.

    There is so much talk here about trading for a relief pitcher or signing one of the remaining free agents. Like Winder, others on this list should be considered for relief roles. Randy Dobnak and Cole Sands are likely additions to that list.

    I did correct my answer to include Billy Martin but it somehow got deleted. Maybe because I mentioned a particular recently pugnacious Twins minor leaguer. Don’t Know. But I would add the Marshmallow Salesman too.
