  1. If there's a no math rule on here, physics certainly aren't allowed....😉😂
  2. Let me get this straight, a MLB game in 2024 with 0 HR, 11 hits, 5 BB, sac bunts and sac fly's, and 10 K. Front offices in every MLB city are beside themselves...
  3. While this is true, the Twins biggest injuries have been at CF and SS, the team did not anticipate this and therefore have no MLB caliber replacement at either position.
  4. I think if the team falls behind in the wildcard race Buxton and Correa's injury timelines will be adjusted.
  5. He has started to hit since his re-call on 8-16 - .300/.364/.367 (.731 OPS), but his defense has been horrible and has hurt the team too often.
  6. Probably, facing Sale tomorrow. Doesn't matter that Wallner and Larnach combined went 5-11 with two doubles and 4 RBI tonight, LH batters don't face LHP.
  7. Smoke and mirrors only works for a short period. The team has no viable option at CF or SS behind Buxton and Correa, MLB pitching has figured out how to get Lewis and Julien out, and the BP (especially Duran and ALL the lefties) is a mess. The team doesn't execute fundamentals, doesn't advance base runners and most of the guys go station-to-station. So, to answer a question posed earlier, no Rocco is not the best Twins manager ever.
  8. Lee was headed to AAA to start the season injury or no injury. He may have been called up earlier if healthy, but probably not April. Maybe early June when Julien was sent down the first time.
  9. Just saw Kepler was unavailable due to knee soreness.... How many days will the team drag this out before putting him on the IL?
  10. So after the Twins showed Farmer, the Cardinals brought in a LHP. My question is, why didn't Kepler then hit for Farmer?
  11. Buxton, Correa and Lee are close to returning - Margot and Farmer DFA'd?? More likely Julien and Martin get returned to St. Paul. The BP needs help, Paddack is close, and he and Varland did enough in BP roles last year. Winder should also be considered. Sorry, but I don't see Kiersey in the mix
  12. Okert since the All Star break: 11 gms, 7.1 IP, 8 ER, 6/5 K/BB ratio, 3 HR allowed - 9.82 ERA (9.31 FIP) .367/.460/.700 (1.146 OPS). He's a LHP who does well against LH batters, but with the 3 batter minimum teams PH RH batters and he gets knocked around
  13. Kinda cool... https://www.mlb.com/news/danny-jansen-set-to-play-for-two-teams-in-same-game
  14. Pablo is 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA and a 40/10 K/BB ratio and only 4 HR covering 44 IP in 7 starts since the All-Star break...
  15. He's battled his tail off, gotta give him the chance for the W....
  16. But 3 of the 5 were alleged PED users..... He did have 9.8 bWAR that season, more than any player in either league. But that was before baseball got overly geeky, er, inclined to use metrics to value a player instead of using counting stats.
  17. Not liking Duran's velocity today....
  18. Lopez would have been pulled in either the 1st or 2nd if that was the case...
