Duran threw 17 pitches last night and 7 so far tonight, I'm thinking he starts the 9th, but Pagan is getting loose.

Not watching or listening, just MLB Gameday, but it seems to me that this year's team has real issues turning DP's. Hernandez has hit into 11 DP's but the Twins can't turn one on him??
  3. mnfireman
    The alternative is Pagan...

I hope Duran or Lopez is getting loose, Jax looks a little erratic

And a bunt for the run.....

And Cave moves him over to third....

    Jax, Duran & Lopez for 7, 8 & 9 again tonight??

Looks like the ump has expanded his strike zone the last couple of innings.

The Blue Jays have hit some good pitches hard and watched a lot of pitches right down the middle....

    Correa misses a center-cut slider....

Bundy trying to work the edges a little more with mixed results.

Pressing too hard since he's been slumping..... .205/.253/.308, a .561 OPS over his last 20 games.
  16. mnfireman
Very low considering Contreras was 3-25 with an overall line of .120/.115/.360 good for OPS+ of 30....

Unless it takes the Rookie of the Month out of the game...
  21. mnfireman
No they wouldn't have. Pagan's numbers are right in line with Chapman from the Yankees and Kimbrel from the Dodgers. All relievers are 1 or 2 bad outings from having a bad back of the baseball card.

I can think of few others I'd DFA before Cotton....

Duran has only pitched on consecutive days twice, 1 inning each time. A perfect 1,2,3 inning against Cleveland on May 14, and a 4 batter outing on July 10 where he gave up a HR in the 8th inning of a 6-5 win.
