  1. No. You're not. The Twins lack a middle of the order. It's tough to have a good offense when you don't have a couple three really good, dependable tough outs to build around. I have high hopes that Julien will develop into a very good leadoff hitter. Maybe Lewis, although I'm skeptical.
  2. Sign Blake Snell AND trade for a starter.
  3. My 2024 wish list: Blake Snell Cody Bellinger Juan Soto Josh Hader
  4. Gonna need to see some verification of that claim. Also, nitpic, but it's "Pressly."
  5. 1. Pressly had 1.5 years of control when traded. Not to mention, there's zero reason the Twins couldn't have signed him. Contract status has little to nothing to do with trading Pressly. 2. What does Duran have to.do with Pressly?
  6. You're "not going to have a lot of patience with people who are anything less than delighted with the overall direction of this franchise"?? What direction is that? We don't know what 2024s roster looks like, and they're not likely winning anything with Baldelli anyway. Also, did Arizona need to see the death star up close?
  7. False. The strike zone is defined by when the batter is in his stance. Midpoint between shoulders and top of pants to a point just below the kneecaps. https://www.mlb.com/glossary/rules/strike-zone
  8. My team? You're confused. My team is done for the season.
  9. How about when you were a mid-career USAF veteran?
  10. Kepler had two middle middle hangers too.
  11. 2022 ALCS MVP Jeremy Pena says hi. Corbin Carroll and Evan Carter are waiving
  12. Again...the difference in quality of ABs is pretty stark. Please don't tell me MLBers are immune to pressure, or never succumb to the moment
  13. Kepler, Wallner, Jeffers, MAT all picked a bad time to fall off the table
  14. That pitch wasn't 4-6 inches inside. Lol. Half a baseball, won't even be graded a miss. He also took a 2-0 middle middle change and swing through ball 3 on 2-1. Hardly a great AB.
  15. Good teams don't have Donovan Solano starting at 1st base in a post season game.
  16. Per Verduci: Urquidy has more swings and misses through 4 than any game this season
  17. Dusty chews on his toothpick and toys with Rocco.
  18. If you were one of those congratulating the FO for sitting on their hands over the pen, you don't get to complain now.
  19. Remember last winter when I was begging the Twins to sign Jose Abreu?
  20. The difference in quality of ABs is like the difference between a 2023 Lexus and a used 2007 Ford Fiesta.
