I haven't watched Gameday in a while. (Refuse to pretend that I'm going to pay the fruit monopoly.) I know that the blue and red sections of the strike zone reflect the batter's strong and weak areas, but which is which? Is blue good for the batter or good for the pitcher?
Maybe Buxton should play CF and at least help the team as much as he can before the inevitable (and not avoided) injury? It's a little pathetic to me all that he does is swing the bat 4 times a game and he *still* can't stay healthy.
What would Jack Morris have done if Rocco had been his manager? Fist-fight on the mound maybe?
He probably gets pulled in the 6th inning of Game 7, 1991.
My morning started with elation! The football team I follow ended it's season with a win and qualified for a European competition next year for the first time in 13 years.
Then the Twins happened. Pathetic performance with all the spirit of a spreadsheet!
Two guys in the lineup with high salaries: Gallo and Buxton are 0-7 with 4 Ks.
Three home-grown rookies: Julien, Kirilloff, and Wallner are 7-10 with 1 K.
Could we please see more the kids?
