    True enough, but runs need not be a continuous function of time. A three-run home could jump us from 4 to 7 in one swing, no? Unless you count the seconds between when the second runner and the batter cross the plate.

    I don't think we do 6's. Either 2 or 12 seems more common.

    Which is why a lot of us were NOT happy about signing Gallo! Which is better? How about neither?!

    Yes, he is becoming Sano, and it's the Twins' fault! He has tremendous skill, but power hitting is the only dimension that seems to interest the Twins. Sad! He's an exciting player being crippled by that philosophy. He should have signed somewhere where a team will utilize all of his skills. We get a few extra first-to-thirds from his speed, and an occasional infield hit or stretched-into-double. But really, he might as well run like Sano if he's not going to play in the field or try to steal bases.

    One of the advantages of retirement was supposed to be being able to watch Twins day games. Today has not felt much like an advantage.

    Just took a dinner break and came back to find another 3-run homer on the board. Haven't they figured out that they can just walk the guy and once the Twins have the bases loaded, it will be out after out?

    And yet, we didn't sign him!

    Trying a new experiment tonight. Game is muted and I'm listening to Lohengrin. Dick and LaTroy are not singing. Lovely experience so far!
