    Misplaced confidence! Let's get one stinking win in the wild-card series first. Then, lets win a second game to take the series. Then, let's see who the best available starters are for the next round. We may need Maeda in the second inning of the first game. We have enough quality pitching that we don't need to try to game out how everything has to work a week in advance.

    I thought this was the year we wanted to BREAK a tradition: No two-and-out again, please.

    Justin and Latroy have both improved a lot. Justin doesn't feel like he needs to talk continuously and Latroy has given up making stupid comments to look cool. They are good together when they ask each other questions.

    Varland instead of Paddack. There is likely to be a blow-out sometime next week that will give the latter an opportunity to get a couple of innings.

    If Kirilloff and Castro can each manage one more home run, the Twins will have 13 (!) players in double figures! That can't have happened very often!
