  1. Who was that guy last night with Feins number on his jersey hitting 94-95 on the outside black consistanly. Nice job Casey. He gets so little love around here so my hats off to him last night.
  2. Looks like your feeling the "the Bern"
  3. Great role model if he died from drug overdose.
  4. Are we the only team in baseball that has 2 first basemen that cant play anywhere else but first? Why is it we move everybody else around but Mauer. He should have volunteered to go to right to get Park at first. What a leader. Cuddy would have!
  5. That rally bottle is the best! I bet Amazon has them.
  6. Move Mauer to right field, Park at first and Sano dh. If they can move Ryan Doumut to left field without experience they can move an athlete who is a veteran to rt.field. He is not a 22 year old he can handle it just fine. This is two games that this experiment had cost us already. Plus we font have to take Sano out late do def. Replacement. Net result that would be a much stronger team. Why keep trying to fit a square peg in a round hole?
  7. Excellent article. As a long time coach he hits the nail right on the head.
  8. Spring training results are akin to "fools gold". Sano is last year's version of the "Santana" switch. Tyler Duffy was successful with his two pitches last year but let's change him also, oh well. Confidence must be easier to attain at the major league level apparently with how we go about experimenting with our players.
  9. While Park was in Arizona getting ready for spring training with the Twins we had a chance to talk with his Korean teams management. We asked them to compare Park and King since they were both on the same team. Consensus was King was the better fielder, being a shortstop but that Park was the better hitter of the two. It was an interesting conversation.
  10. Sano is not an outfielder, period. He is their future and should be at first base or third base. Mauer or Ploufe should have been moved. Sano could get hurt playing any position but what he can't do is play any position.
  11. Late game def replacement for Sano taking our best hitter out of the game is a scenario that I hope dosent hurt us. Let's hope he won't need one.
  12. We were able to see him practice in Arizona. He has a lot of power!!
  13. Had a chance to watch and to Mr. Park today in Arizona today. He is a very personable young man! Talked with team officials from his Korean team and they said he's always been that way. Just a real nice guy. And watching practice was a treat also. Make sure if you get a chance welcome him to the Twins you won't be disappointed.
  14. A year ago at the AFL, Buxton, Rosario and Kepler were all available to watch. With a sss to me Kepler looked to be the best prospect of the three with Rosario second and Buxton third. Kepler reminded me of a young Morneau. Big smooth lefty. Would not surprise me if he turns out to be the best of the three.
  15. Span Revere Hicks. Buxton is he next
  16. Mauer to DH. Sano to first. Bat Sano 3rd Mauer second. Smile
  17. Nice info ☆ thanks
  18. One of the articles also mentioned that the entire field staff would return. We just completed 3 consecutive seasons which were the highest strikeout totals in Twins history. Our team batting average ranked as one of the lowest in baseball. If coaches make a difference why bring Brunanski back.
  19. I am so sick of watching Perkins and Pelfrey thinks it's so important to throw seeds at whoever is being interviewed during a game. During a very important game I guess that's important, bullsxxxx
  20. Coming out of spring training twins coaches were saying privately what a disaster the bullpen was. Fits right in with leaving spring training with Bartlett year before.
  21. Someone explain to me why our best AAA prospects gets by-passed again, Berrios, on a call up for someone who got blasted in Toronto.
  22. Is there another team in baseball whose farm system has produced less in the pitching department than ours under TR? If Berios is not as good as Duffy what does that say about him. How many teams have gone 10 years withouth producing a bonified one or two pitcher from their farm system?
  23. Buxton looked like he did with the twins strikeouts and a few hits. Kepler has a very smooth swing. He looked like Justin Mournou (sic) in his prime, very smooth swing, lots of line drives. Buxton looked like he had a youngster who could hit fastballs but struggled with other pitcjes.
  24. Had the opportunity to watch Kepler in the AFL which I would argue has more talent than AAA baseball. We had Buxton, Rosario and Kepler as position players there. Based on that league I would have ranked them Kepler 1 Rosario 2 and Buxton 3 for hitting. All three of them defensively were good.
