    Well, that's certainly possible.......but does anyone think they see him as a starter this year, or does moving to the pen make it even more obvious they don't* *unless they want to repeat last year's fiasco.

    To start, and be ready to start if/when someone fails or is hurt......if he was planned as a starter, that is what would happen, methinks.

    It's hard to see how he becomes a starter, after 2.5 years as a reliever, then.

    I doubt anyone is surprised by this. I don't like the decision, personally. If the Twins really think he has 4 pitches, that's 2 more than Duffey has......good pitchers with 4 pitches are starters, and not relievers, for a reason....those people are very rare on the planet, and you use them for the most amount of time as possible.

    that simply isn't true......he will lose millions in the time it takes to get to a real contract. It also pretty much assumes the conclusion, right? Of course a GREAT RP makes more than a bad starter.......what if he is an average starter, and used in middle relief, which guy makes more money that way? Because Ryan has already said he might be the long RP........

    You can't understand how you can root for the Twins to win, and root for other players to have good careers? I can, but I am not a typical fan at all.

    Could you make that just a wee bit bigger, I don't think the guy sitting 200 feet behind me could see it clearly......but, I get your point. Almost no one likes the Yankees.

    Can't you hope for both Murphy and Hicks? No place did he even mention Hicks. Me, I want everyone to be happy and productive, so I too am rooting for Mr. Hicks to do well. why not?

    I'd like Park, if he is up, to play as much as possible. It's the only way he'll get good.....imo.

    Isn't it even higher, since a HR doesn't count? Right, a HR does not count for BABIP calculations, so if you don't strike a guy out, he either is on 1-3rd, 29% of the time, or hits a HR......

    I just don't take anything* seriously at this point......I think pitchers are still working on hitting certain spots, new pitches, etc.......I don't think they really pitch to the situation this early in the year. *maybe park's power....
