  1. I'm told he needs to acclimate or something. Unlike every player Minnesota traded away ....
  2. Well, Kiersey is in Minnesota, and outman is not.....
  3. Only that fangraphs calls him a fifty for fielding and running. He's an interesting get.
  4. I doubt there will be a crunch, but they have maybe 15 guys on the roster that should be next year. As you add MLB players, you're going to take spaces. I'm likely just still spicy from yesterday.
  5. Sort of? It's the hitting and fielding, for to awful drafts and development, that is the core that needed replacing. That was really my point. That part isn't changed at all. Indeed, only one new player is on the roster...... And somehow no one could be better in center than Martin or Kiersey......
  6. Yup. And they did. Hours ago. I was wrong about the rule.
  7. I thought players needed time to adjust to new teams? That's what I was told a few pages back....
  8. Can you give us a few highlights? If not, that's ok.
  9. Someone asked on another thread if I thought there would be a 40 man crunch in the off season, given all the guys that could go.....well, at some point they need to add 7 relief pitchers (or SP) to the 40 man to actually field a team next year, so, yes, I think trading for a bunch of guys that need to be on the 40 man was one of several mistakes.
  10. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/winners-and-losers-from-the-2025-trade-deadline/ In both the winners and their own special category of losers list.
  11. One trade addition added......one. Impressive!
  12. Given what Falvey said in his letter, and that they called up a bunch of guys in their mid 20s and 30s, I don't think they picked a lane.....
  13. Well, they don't think this is a rebuild, so they disagree with me. But, if you are in rebuild mode, then you don't deal for almost anyone on the 40 man.
  14. I don't think that's the core that was killing them, and they clearly think they are easily replaceable. But, sure, we can call that a former core.
  15. So much for clearing the decks for legit prospects to get their feet wet.......(I think they think Roden is a legit prospect, and maybe Ohl).
  16. There might be 4 MLB players on that list....(note I said Might). Only Ohl is a legit pitcher, imo, in that list.
  17. I don't get how that works better than doing it in the majors against the pitching he needs to figure out? I'm sticking with this guy being DFA within 12 months.
  18. Martin starting in CF? I mean, I guess? I thought that was the whole point of trading for Outman?
  19. The only core they got rid of is CC. That's it. Nothing else has changed in the core.
  20. Hmmmm. I was led to believe he'd played more than that! Julien at first? Who is the 1B at this point?
  21. They traded a useful RP for a guy that can't beat out Kiersey for a roster spot, even though he's 28......or am I mixing up who went for whom?
