I can't believe I"m typing this, but I'd rather they play Kiersey. No team that is trying to build for next year or the year after should deal for and play a 28 year old who has been worse than replacement level.

Just saw Mendez is rule 5 eligible this year, so he'll need to be added to the 40 man, Like the deal slightly less now.

I wish the TWins could figure out how to package all these OK prospects for a legit player....but that doesn't really work.

Except they've dealt guys with control for guys a LONG way off.....and kept Ryan and Lopez and Ober? That seems like an odd fit in terms of strategy. We'll see....but they've done nothing to fix the O in the next two years, but they've also not traded off the next two years (yet).

He wasn't even an honorable mention on Fangraphs (merely pointing out it is hard to trust only 1 source in rankings). I hope the other people are right!

That was my 2nd biggest issue with the Duran trade, it did nothing to fix things on offense in that pitching window.

Sure, I have no idea. I'm a broken record here, but relying on one ranking site likely isn't a good idea (Fangraphs, MLB, BA, etc.). Looking across them makes more sense to me to get a feel.
