    In this case, im only spending 500k, and reinvesting that for almost two years, instead of sitting on a worthless stock, only to get nothing in two years, most likely. But, fear of loss is much more powerful than hope for gain, as research shows.....

    No one is saying they are perfect. This all started because someone posted no reasonable projection system would say he can hit.....I merely pointed out that one system did. Nothing more or less. They promoted an OF from Ft Meyers to AAA, and not Wade..... Just like they promoted a different IF than Gordon. It can't be that they don't want top prospects in Rochester. Romero, Gonsalves, and Mejia are there, or were. So I got no idea.

    Defense counts too..... And he replaces Lamarre on the roster.... At least move him to AAA.

    I was responding to the post that "no reasonable projection" would have him ever be good....... we aren't sure one way or the other....but his defense has to be MUCH better than Grossman's, and Buxton is out for some time. Let's find out if he's going to be good or not, or at least expose him to MLB pitching, or at least gather data.

    Plenty of other teams promote young players to the majors.....it would be nice to see the Twins be more aggressive than they have been (and no, I'm not saying put him in the majors right now, I'm saying promote him before he's ready, to challenge him and get him here faster).

    I don't think people realize how few pitchers finish six innings anymore, and how the game has changed. I know I struggled with this, until a couple years ago. But, the world has changed. Starters don't throw as many innings as we think. Like it or not, it just is.

    there is no need to send grossman down...DFA Lamarre. Or a random RP, and cycle thru RPs from MLB to AAA. Really, no need to do anything with grossman at all.
