  1. I'm not sure how one could not be concerned at this point. But I have no answers, just like the front office.
  2. Well, the Twins don't have that option. But they do have Gaterol, why not try and see if it works?
  3. Where is the Lamentation? If you don't think twenty left on base involves luck, no skin off my back...
  4. Then it's on me for reading poorly! I was multi tasking.....
  5. If they are tied, it's who plays better now. The Cleveland team doesn't need to dominate, they need to win one more game than Minnesota. So those winning percentages aren't really relevant now.
  6. Berrios, Pineda for sure Then, I'm not sure between Odorizzi and Gibson. I'd go three man, and lots of piggybacking..... So game four is a bullpen game. I'd be ready for all of them to be bullpen. I doubt Perez would even be on my roster in October.
  7. The guy that invented KATOH was hired by a team a couple years ago.... So I'm guessing that's the only spot they do them now.
  8. I hope they invest this time. Because otherwise they should just sell the team.
  9. Yet you visit twins daily, where they make similar rankings. Heaven forbid someone is wrong about predicting the future....
  10. A front page article describing the right way to fan..... Sigh.
  11. Do Cruz's numbers against bad teams not count too? What do you think the league ERA is if you take out the bad hitting teams from every pitcher?
  12. I suggest people might want to check the pitching leaderboards, sort by ERA or whatever stat you want....Gibson is an above average pitcher this year. Pitching in this era is ridiculously difficult. That said, not good last night. But all these comments about his personality and his overall quality are kind of wrong....
  13. How? None of the free agents signed in the off season by any clubs have been great. The guys in AAA to start the year have been hurt or bad. They traded for two of the top RPs traded for at the deadline.
  14. I was just having that golf talk with myself. Turned out the same.... I don't get the angst here at all. Plenty of young players are making impacts around the league. Pitchers get hurt, get them up when they are healthy and throwing hard. If the FO thinks they can help, who cares how old they are?
  15. I think they should put him in the bullpen and see what happens, for this year.
  16. Probably, agreed. But then, they could afford more this year, compared to last, and didn't. So who knows what the budget really is.
  17. Among left fielders with more than 150 at bats, he's around 24th in WAR this year. One FWAR for the year. That's not worth nine to eleven million per year, on a team on a budget, desperate for pitching next year. I suspect he's back, but I also wouldn't be shocked if he isn't, if they plan to buy pitching, which I have my doubts about.
