    This is good news. The front office thinks he's ready for AA. That's a bit surprising, but good.

    I like this a lot more than when it was first announced, and it was only Romo coming back. It's a fine, not exciting, idea to trade minor league depth for an ok RP and a minor league pitcher. Just do two more things....

    The only negative is that stroman is a free agent, right? That might be a reason not to.... That I can understand.

    If they can get a controllable starter, they should. Sixty percent of the rotation will be free agents, and does anyone trust the fourth guy all that much beyond this year? They are below last year's budget. The fans are showing up. If not now, when?

    As a short stop......97 wrc+ in the majors is median for a SS. And for a 2B. Not saying he could do that, but if he stayed around 95, he'd be median to just worse than that for a SS, and median for a 2B (SS are hitting better than 2B this year).

    I am a fan, generally, of how he's managing the pen. I'm concerned about Rogers usage level, but he was warming at 3-2. I doubt he pitches today....

    Remember when entire said they could trade Gordon, because Lewis and Javier were locks to be here in the next year or two? Good times. I'd be careful dealing Gordon at this point. I'd do it for the right player, but I'd be careful.

    Taking a flyer on DeJong was a fine move. Just didn't work, but that's the nature of this kind of deal.

    This isn't about this year's draft. It's about the Lewis year, when people say they couldn't take a guy slot number one and still sign Enlow. Actually, in this thread, it was about the owner's willingness to spend an extra million or not, as principle..... Nothing about this is about this year's draft.

    It's not an agreement. The agreement is you can go over, with penalties. 23 teams were over last year. The agreement is you can go over if you want.

    Yes, it did. The cut scene kind of ruined my emotional response though, and seemed to cheapen things. Great season, though it is turning into more horror it seems. I don't get why two college students had to say goodbye....
