  1. It sure would be disappointing if they feel the need to put him at third.....or SS. I'm baffled by this, frankly.
  2. I don't know their plan for Buxton.... But I'm assuming he plays center one third the time, with Lewis the rest. Lewis also backs up CC and Miranda, though Farmer also does that. Perhaps Lewis in a corner vs LHP. I just want him healthy and playing.
  3. So much more fun to read than "well, we had to pick someone.".....
  4. Center field! I have spoken.
  5. Statcast says his stuff is great. Eventually the results will reflect that. I think people forget how young he is.
  6. Julien isn't sitting around waiting to play like those two are. They just aren't going to call him up to not play. Those two are bench players.
  7. Didn't realize Headrick went down.
  8. I'd guess winder for four days. Then Ober or Varland when Maeda was to start. Let the pipeline flow.....
  9. The list of proven pitchers that fail the next year is longer than you can imagine. Why would we assume he won't use Stewart?
  10. Who anointed anyone? People are saying have patience.
  11. They literally just replaced a guy, from depth. They have plenty of depth. The bullpen has been well above average this year
  12. Who had Stewart on their bingo card? Mine mostly says Kiriloff and winder....
  13. That's a fair stance, we don't agree. I'm not sure which player you want to see more of than him right now?
  14. Where does Julien play? Gordon can sit on the bench, no biggie. Sitting Julien more days than playing him is not a good idea. That said, that guy should have a 1B glove, if Polanco is healthy, that's Julien's opportunity with Buxton the DH.
  15. See, I don't think they kept Kepler due to sunk cost fallacy (one of my favorites, as it were). I think they kept him because Larnach wasn't healthy, AK wasn't, they weren't playing Buxton in the field, etc.....they wanted depth. They have that now, but it is much harder now to do anything. No one makes trades yet, and no team just cuts a veteran that puts up league average fWAR.
  16. He's been better than both..... Larnach has been hurt the last two years. I'm in no hurry to judge him at this point. Let's see where he is in July.
