  1. Lee's been good, just not dominant like many of us hoped. Would be nice to have one insanely fast riser, great player rise up under this FO.
  2. Alcala, Stewart, Thielbar all hurt. Sands ineffective. Henriquez just back. De Leon hurt. That's 4 decent to good RPs hurt, and two that likely aren't that good, though Henriquez at least intrigues me. Look, we can look at all the anecdotes we want, but Gleeman has posted very compelling stats. Pagan has been the worst RP in baseball for four years when it comes to adding value in indiividual games and relative ERA. There is no reason to have him on the roster. He's PROVEN to be bad for four years now. I don't care which minor leaguer they call up to replace him. That person has not proven to be the worst in baseball. WInder and Balazovich should be in MN, either thriving or failing. This team is NOT a good team, so find out what those two have. Put them in positions of stress, and see what happens.
  3. Where would you put him in AAA, given larnach, Wallner, Celestino, Stevenson, and Contreras are there? I mean, at the beginning of the year, when that's how the pecking order was, would you have put him in AAA?
  4. Whe even come in the thread, then, if you aren't interested? Dude was hurt for two years, and the pandemic years didn't help.....he's healthy and playing very well. Good for him. I guess one can choose not to be happy for him.....
  5. Great stuff, thanks, I prefer the Saints OF to the Twins at this point......and hope against hope they move 2 or 3 up, and likewise promote guys from lower levels in kind....
  6. I can only go by what I read, and I don't LOVE what I read about Dollander....hence Clark wins that battle for me. Thanks for all your excellent work, btw. Really enjoying it. Now that I've typed that first sentence, I don't want him at 5. Gotta LOVE a guy you pick at five (but again, I'm not scouting these guys).
  7. I'd certainly consider it.....I've waffled on him.....It is so hard to get an ACE or even number 2 pitcher. There just aren't that many out there.....and if they are ever FAs, forget it. Fangraphs isn't in love with his fastball (they aren't in love with Lowder or Walldrp fastballs either). Lowder and Walldrop look under rated on your consensus board.... But, if the choice is Dollander or Clark? I have no idea what I'd do. If it is Skenes or Dollander, it is Skenes.
  8. Cano hasn't been as good lately, we'll see how that goes.... they bought last year, and I was good with that decision. it didn't work. I don't think they should buy this year.
  9. How do you expect to replace Varland (and Gray next year)? No chance they deal Varland, IMO.
  10. Now. But at the time of drafting? Not petty I would think. Hard to say on Wallner..... Probably about even.
  11. You like rooker better than Petty? Not one team would trade Wallner or Petty for rooker. not Rooker for Miller either.
  12. This front office has spent more money than any Twins FO.... They aren't holding guys back for money.
  13. Man I hated all three that you rank the worst..... Oh well. Hopefully they nail the first two picks this year.
  14. Twins scored a lot more runs yesterday, so Ryan didn't change the odds much.
  15. No one hates Kepler, seriously, this isn't personal. Rocco wasn't in the game at that point, btw ... He had been ejected
  16. If I didn't know better, I'd assume RpR is a bot programmed to let us know all rookies are bad at every opportunity. At least they are consistent.
