  1. Only 90 pitchers pitched 130 innings or more.....not sure where we expect to find those.
  2. This isn't serious, right? Every pitcher but SWR is in their prime age. Maybe even SWR. There isn't some weird conspiracy here......
  3. Gallo and a prospect, or Kepler? I thought that was the discussion. Gallo has more risk than Kepler for sure. But I'd rather have Gallo and a prospect, than Kepler and no additional prospect. YMMV.
  4. The Twins can't develop the pipeline and show guys are ready if they are not going to let them pitch. I don't believe Wacha is likely to be better than the current players.
  5. 109% this. No, I'm not fixing the typo.
  6. I have no idea what is realistic there or not, but this is one of the better ones. Also, I'm sick and on meds, so who knows.
  7. Having an advantage doesn't mean you succeed. It's an advantage, not guarantee.
  8. Wait and see what? They got two years of Gray. That was the cost, whether the guy they gave up is great or not.
  9. As Doc pointed out, no one from the last two drafts is in the majors. They've essentially had four drafts to produce pitchers. They also need to take hitters. The real key is more trades, imo. Kepler and Arraez should be dealt for pitchers.
  10. You realize medicine is an art, not science. We have no idea if they screwed up those first two, or if things changed or if they were willing to accept the risk. None.
  11. Outside a couple teams, isn't all SP depth filled with prospects? I really don't know what people realistically expect here.
  12. And yet, a year ago he was a top prospect. IMO, you don't give up on that after one bad year, where he was somewhat hurt. YMMV, of course. Also, no idea how trading anything for a 4th OF is a good idea.....like, of all the way to use assets, I don't get this. Laureano hasn't been healthy for two years, playing less than 100 games each of the last two.
  13. Ryan is a pitcher with five years of control left. Has any team done that for a pitcher? I can squint and see Miranda, but he's not shown as much as any player Atlanta has extended, but I can see that one. Lewis hasn't walked injury free in two years, I'm passing on that one.
  14. The Twins have no player I'd do that for right now. Like who?
  15. Agreed. I have no idea how this is a good idea. People seem desperate for moves, or content.
  16. Not even close. Other than the Guardians, none of those teams were good at any point last year.
  17. Good one. Let me know when they do that with the millions they don't spend.
  18. Not at all. And, what free agent is as good?
