  1. I agree with that, but the Twins will keep Lopez and send down Balazovic....they've shown all year that VETERANS is the answer ....even if the youth are nearly ALL playing better. Heck, Julien would still be in AAA if Polanco hadn't gotten hurt a second time.
  2. They should have known his price when picking him. And, so what? It is their job to sign him.
  3. That has zero to do with this. Zero. It is their job to sign him. Zero to do with the agent.
  4. Because he's likely the best SP available this year for trade. People trade great or very good prospects for SP at the deadline most years (when there are actually good SPs available). You literally have no idea if those guys would be good here or not..... That said, at this point, I don't think they are selling at all (maybe Gallo, but that's to add Wallner full time, if done).
  5. Heck, he doesn't even get his chance if Polanco isn't hurt, which is another strike against this FO.
  6. The Yankees aren't trying that again! Wallner has hit well since being allowed off the bench. He should just be up. Larnach is only up for three days.... I'd take anything for Gallo at this point, just so Wallner can replace him.
  7. I don't know they need BP help either, given the returns of Stewart and Thielbar.....I mean, I'd trust Balazovic more than them anyway, but they seem hesitant to trust any young players (hitters or pitchers). They didn't even want Julien up, it took Polanco being OUT for him to be up. Sure, they CAN put AK in the outfield, but Wallner is outhitting him.....they should just trust Wallner.
  8. That's the plan for three days..... Then Buxton is back and Larnach is down again.
  9. Hard to see how he's on the roster, given they signed his very expensive replacement....
  10. I don't understand this idea. If by some shock they trade for a hitter, it will be for an OF. But I see them standing pat offensively.
  11. If they don't sign him, I'm even more done with the FO.... But I think they will.
  12. There is no reason to trade Wallner. He should play every day. Larnach? Sure, he can fetch a RP I'd guess. Might backfire, but they should do it.
  13. They signed another nothing TE? What's going on?
  14. I have no idea what this is supposed to prove? But if you look at longer lists, like fangraphs, that have several in the top 200...
  15. No one could make a putt, among the chasers. Fleetwood really needs to do something with the putter, as he was great other than 17.
  16. It was a problem already this year, while Julien sat in AAA when polanco was healthy. It only gets worse when polanco and Lewis are healthy.
