  1. He acknowledged it, calling a 7 wrc below average......, he didn't try to look at the relative value of that and his defense. It was also a few lines.... In a long post.
  2. We have to throw at them, or they'll keep hitting us....over and over.
  3. I was told that if the Twins intentionally threw at other players, they'd neve be hit again....
  4. Farmer starting at 2B.....after Margot starts against a righty. People need to stop defending these two being on the roster for "platoon" reasons.....
  5. In fairness, Kepler might be hurt.....but I agree in general.
  6. He'd have to be in AA next year to do that.... I'm confident he's elite, I'm suggesting this idea we should slow roll his progress is inconsistent with that.
  7. He's not a number two catcher. He catches more games than Jeffers.
  8. That's, of course, not what I said. And neither put up a 7 wrc+.... I said if we are going to fairly discuss this, we can't hand wave the bad.
  9. I dont agree with bean much, but elite prospects don't spend four years in the minors.... They move fast. This idea that we should slow the roll is not consistent with him being a top ten prospect at all.
  10. So we're going to ignore the first two months isy the year and last year, and only talk about the good stuff? Seems like a legit analysis.
  11. He's already in the top 100 on multiple lists. I'd say he's going to finish in the top 75 or better.
  12. Kiersey! (hahahaha, no, they won't) A RP for sure.
  13. The Twins aren't adding Berrios, who makes 18+ million per year until he's 34 years old. No chance. He has his lowest strikeout percentage in years this year. I don't know why anyone thinks this is going to happen, on a team that cut payroll this off season.
  14. He can be stretched out in a week or two. Someone else can make an emergency start if needed. I hope you're correct about next year. They're wasting his arm trying to keep him a starter. I agree I'm tilting at windmills here 😀
  15. That zero teams want him? He's not good anymore?
  16. All those guys better this year than their career? Nervous....
  17. He's not a starter. Make him a RP in the regular season so he has experience in tight situations. They refused to move Jax for years on the tiny chance he was a starter.
  18. It really isn't a rough decision to move on from Farmer. He offers nothing at this point that Martin doesn't do better. Once he or Lewis is healthy, move on. It costs like half a million dollars to do so.
  19. I'm not confident about Stewart, alas. They seem very reluctant to move varland, as they were with Jax. I'd move him for sure, and that might take care of the bullpen. There is no cheap, great, starter out there, not for a team bent on cutting payroll. I still think if they want to add a starter, they'll be forced to deal Kepler to offset the cost.
  20. What young guys? SWR is the only guy without at least three years of pitching. The others were all in the playoffs last year. The bullpen has one young guy.
