  1. If it is France, with Larnach going to first base, I'm ok with that also......
  2. I would. They are virtually identically rated on sites right now, and they have zero catching prospects......If Teel is close to Jenkins in hitting/fielding, he's way more valuable as a C than a RF.
  3. But who is the "best player"? How different is the grade between 17 and 25, really? And, position scarcity should 100% matter. It is HARD to find a catcher......Take the f'n catcher (Teel should be a Twin right now).
  4. This idea that some people here have that players, especially rookies, are fully developed is truly mind boggling to me.
  5. I mean, if he's average with that bat, I'd be thrilled!
  6. So you'd rather have whom at second? Just call him up and see what happens until Lewis or Keaschell are ready.
  7. And the markets shrug again. Don't try to tell me about market efficiency ever again. Also, my next comment might be political, so I'll not talk about capitalism....
  8. I'd give Keaschell a first base glove right now. Or Larnach. They have two great OF prospects ...... But yes, you hit the nail on the head.
  9. Are you suggesting we have to point out everything wrong in every post? I think people are smart enough to know fixing Gasper doesn't fix the team. But they aren't replacing Buxton or Correa.... But they can replace Gasper.
  10. I meant more..... Not being a bad fielder, not that he can throw again. But maybe his defense will get better!
  11. Hence, if you can. And, I hate to say this, but the pitching pipeline is deep, and Lopez and one other vet could be good, even if the offense isn't..... Giving them plenty of value. Frankly, I'm ready for Lee, Keaschell, and maybe Rodriguez. Gasper shouldn't be here. I have no idea how to fit the other two in right now. If only Keaschell could actually play second, or Eeles hadn't gotten hurt....
  12. I think this mess is on the front office, and I don't think they'll hire anyone different, but you may need to fire Rocco to shake them up. Which may or may not be fair to him.... If they don't turn this around, you have to blow it up this deadline imo. If you can.
  13. That was kind of my point on Raya. He's not expected to be close to that this year, but people are saying he hayd to be to be a MLB pitcher.....
  14. Spoiler.... She says to Reacher that he doesn't do this for vengeance, but to take on the powerful that others can't. Or some such words. It was not subtle.
  15. I mean, only 81 pitchers threw 140 plus innings in the majors last year, so he's on target to be a regular starter this year or next....Raya, that is.
  16. Harper's D>>>>>>>>>>Vlad's D.
  17. Part of the reason..... Almost all the guys in his class have already signed extensions! The free agency classes are getting smaller and older.... Therefore, supply is down..... I'm not defending this. It's more than I'd pay for a guy who can't play defense at 26....
  18. He's how old? Can he be a starter next year given the workload? At some point, you need to get him in the majors. I'd consider a permanent move to the bullpen, otherwise it might be two years before he sees the majors. How many guys are in line in front of him right now? If they really think he can be a starter next year, great, keep him starting. Otherwise? Bullpen for me.
