  1. At least you get rain. But then, it isn't humid here and we have almost no mosquitos....
  2. CC isn't going anywhere. Sure, I like Keaschell and Culpepper, but if we are trading guys, not into the TOR players was my point.
  3. Not really thrilled with the Jays prospects. Give me Mets or Phillies......
  4. You can't be serious? AI is so wrong so often it's not even funny anymore. That's even counting how awful it is for the environment and people trying to breathe.
  5. I endorse this plan. No idea why Kiersey is still here at this point. Martin is healthy..
  6. Except they are stuck with Lewis and CC whether they hit or not. It's all on those two. Buxton isn't going anywhere. One of Larnach and Wallner is here next year, maybe both. Jeffers is your part time catcher. You're left with one corner OF spot, first where they refuse to move anyone, and second, where we hope Lee or Keaschell stick. I generally agree that they need to be more aggressive and let rookies play, but nothing is fixed unless those two hit or are gone. How does Lee play five days a week? I wish they'd move on from France, but they didn't move Larnach or Wallner or Julien to first. Will they promote Sabato? I'm guessing no, they'll stick with the bad veteran like they always do.
  7. People here mostly don't remember the trades that don't fit their narrative. I'm not in love with some of the decisions when they are made, but I also don't think they are stupid or inept or clueless or any of the other words they are called. I just don't think they are quite good enough.
  8. Just got an offer for some more preferred stock in a winery here (so big it's not going to fail .....) at 6.5%. I'm going to go in for another 10K I think. I THINK I can send others the invite.......DM if interested.
  9. I thought I was more clear? I think they changed their mind after the signing.. but we don't know, but that's my belief.
  10. I'm currently sitting on cash, making five percent. Regretting not getting back into Nvidia at 99.... But then I'm about to start using my savings..... It's depressing to me the market loves fascism.
  11. It's a general statement not necessarily specific to Eeles. I have no idea if he can play, but we know several current twins aren't good. Rostering those every year, and spending money on them, is my issue.
  12. Lee is really scuffling..... Hope he picks it up today.
  13. Other teams advance top prospects. Sometimes even this team. Culpeper is a college guy, it's hard to see any reason not to move him up if he's still doing this in August.
  14. I'm not sure it's a complete rebuild. But this team might miss the playoffs for the fourth time in five years, so maybe a modest rebuild is the best way forward. But I really think it's all about CC and Lewis, as they're stuck with them...
  15. I think it's likely ownership lowered payroll targets after the signing, so I'm not sure this is on falvey? That said, it's the biggest issue for the team. CC has to hit.... Has to.
  16. Painter and two more prospects. The author didn't even mention Philly, and it's the only team I'm dealing with for Ryan. They have to get a top, top, pitcher back, plus. I wouldn't do it, but if they get Painter and two more good prospects, it's likely a win, but not for next year.... Most of the other guys mentioned just aren't that interesting.
  17. I'm hoping no early HS pitchers. I'm hoping college arm or catcher early. HS OF and SS world be great.
  18. Painter and two more good prospects from Philly and you consider it. But I can't see any other idea that makes any sense.
  19. But then, they didn't think Larnach and Wallner were role players when they came up, but they still platooned them.....so I'm not sure the argument holds that this team even tries....Wallner was decent to good against them in the minors, platooned. I'm hoping there isn't enough data for Jenkins for the team to know what to do, frankly. Because if there is, it means he's not in MN until 27 or 28.
