  1. “The problem is right in front of their nose. It is named Falvey.” 100% correct! DF built the bomba squad and dismantled it the next year, we had two All Star pitchers and couldn’t keep them. Let one get away to St Louis! He needs to go!
  2. What you are suggesting is that Arraez’s glove isn’t good enough, but I think his bat might fit in good with the small ball DF wants us to play. But he might be too expensive for the current MN Twins. I agree Lopez was a heaven-sent player! I would hate to see him go!
  3. Lopez would have been gone during the sell off if he had been healthy! Ryan would have been gone but DF couldn’t get the deal done before the deadline. And I agree both will be gone at some point next year. I hope not as I think they could help the rest of the staff develop, but knowing the cost cutting culture now DF will have to deal them to save payroll.
  4. Great comment about their leadership in the pitching room! That is why I hope they don’t trade Jeffers.
  5. It’s going to be a long season! buck, Ryan, and Pablo are unlikely to be back. Too much payroll! Youth movement in play! ⚾️
  6. Great Hire! Clearly qualified. This rebuild will not be easy. BOL LH!
  7. Probably has a better chance of getting a ring in the Houston organization than in Minnesota.
  8. Baldelli was clearly a scapegoat, especially if you look at his replacement. Baldelli is the second winningest coach (500+ wins) in Twins History. DF wasn’t going to fire himself, and the owners decided not to sell. That said he relied on analytics too much. Jose was totally mismanaged. He wasn’t the same after he got hit in the head. Poor coaching at AAA. Twins can’t seem to hire solid trainers, conditioning coaches and minor league managers/coaches. Way too many injuries. All JMO.
  9. Agree totally, big difference in the pocket book between the Red Sox and our current MN Twins. We all are upset with the Ownership and the leadership, I don’t blame the current young players for giving their all in the second half. They played to their current skill level, let’s hope 2026 is the year they figure it out.
  10. Great comments, especially the lesser salary part. I, like you, wonder if anything will really change. All we can do is hope, and wait and see!
  11. Falvey first and foremost is to blame. Sadly he is still here. Ownership has to take some blame for keeping him around. I hope Rocco get’s a chance to manage a big league again if he wants to.
  12. Nice comments! Is it possible the Twins would spend 8-10 mil on one player? I hope Funderbuck is a sleeper in the group.
  13. I personally wouldn’t blame any coach jumping ship from the Twins organization right now, even for the Marlins. This club has so much uncertainty to it, going for a stable position makes perfect sense. I think the coaching staff is still going to be hired by Falvey, so more of the same. ✂️💰
