    Just bitter that they are finally retiring number 7, but for the wrong person.

    Questionable knowledge of the lay-out of the solar system aside, he seems to have forgotten he was pushing to go tot he moon less than a month ago.

    Someone at work watched Chernobyl and gave it a thumbs up. My sister was in Hungary when it happened, and it was completely suppressed from news. She did not hear about it until she left the iron curtain. Dead to Me was renewed for a second season.

    The world is one big continual Onion headline now.

    I agree some good acting and writing and Themla Thompkins can still sing (wonder where Tony Orlando is these days - "Dawn" ended up having the longer career). I am not sure I want to see them go for a second season though. This might be a show where a limited run is best. Kelly Bundy has come a long way from eating toaster leavings. The mother-in-law is one of those actors where you know you have seen her before, but you are not sure where.

    So are the increase in homeruns due to the concrete settling or the lifting of the curse of the trees with the addition of the junipers to the backdrop?

    I remember TNG was on 10:30 Sunday evening and would get back from the library ( wonder where my Walkman is) not done with all of my homework because I procrastinated too much over the weekend and then procrastinate another hour watching the latest episode. Sunday evenings in college could have a fair amount of self-induced stress.

    I think the Vanimal goes without saying. I think people view your wisdom and sharp analysis in your posts here almost at the same level as they did your pitching. Baseball's loss is TD's gain.

    The 0-9 start in 2016 caused some sort of short in my brain where I now remember very little from seasons 2011 to 2016. Our records, pitchers, bench etc.

    For a good part of April I was thinking I do not think they are as good as their record. Now, am starting to lose my fear of being snake bit and thinking maybe this is real. Doing well against the Yankees just might make me a full believer.

    I have to wonder what Barr was thinking when joining this administration at this stage of his career. He has not exactly come across as an attorney general to admire for his dedication to the job and the country and comes across as the Trump's personal defense attorney. Plus it just dug up his past where he might not have been exactly forthright in his previous AG stint.

    I have only been there once and my memory is a little shaky of what I saw there and what I saw in other cathedrals, but not only attached to the walls, but how much was painted into the walls as a fresco that cannot be removed. I also read the roof was 13,000 oak trees cut in the 12th century. I had a friend whose house burnt down. They said the firefighters were amazingly good at [pulling things out that they thought would have sentimental value. Hopefully more was saved than we thought would have been possible. He asked why planes were not dumping water on the fire. Must act quickly!

    I saw this in a tweet - hopefully it is true: and this tweet -- in addition the architecture and art - simply all of the history that has occurred there.

    Everyone at this stage in politics tends to not be drama-free. Although, in this case, wanting to see more than a four page summary written by someone who had already written a 19 page essay on why this investigation should not be happening and not trusting him to redact in good-faith, is not creating extra drama, it is doing their job.

    Not that they were necessarily going to be a play-off team regardless but I thought the PR games messing a bit with their schedule last year threw them off a bit.

    I was away from the radio - where there at least some really good hit balls and the runs and hits were robbed by some excellent defense by KC?
