I thought I clicked on another non-game thread and while reading the new posts was thinking - wow - this thread really went off the tracks - what are these people on etc. Once I realized it was a game thread, I thought this is actually pretty linear and coherent by game thread standards.

If only we could throw out the worst month of the season, ok if only we could throw out the two worst months of the season.. two and a half months of the season. We would be in contention.\ It is nice to see them playing better. With a bad a start as they had, it would not have been unforeseeable for the club house to go toxic and continue to play in the gutter the rest of the season. -

Except for dangers of exposure in winter- so that narrows it down to it being safe for two months - unless there is flooding that year, then you have about three weeks.

A source of one of my childhood nightmares. For years I slept trying to make sure my neck was covered by my sheet (which in retrospect - probably would not have fully protected me). Now my nightmares involve things like bunting and base running.

What if you had to give your job up as TD moderator to take the job? That would make your decision incredibly tough. I have heard David St. Peter likes someone who can tell a good joke, so that might be something you can use to your advantage.
