    I just lost the last ten minuets of the game due to a radio break to talk about storms not near me. I miss anything exciting?

    If the Vikings win the Super Bowl or Gophers go to the Rose Bowl - that will be the grand finale and the world will blow up or implode as soon as Cousins lifts up the trophy or the keys to the car for being MVP of the game.

    I am I am glad it is not that full moon Friday the 13th of a couple of days ago -- it might have been one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

    Good thing I did not put the chicken dinner on at the beginning of the inning - it would have been dry by now.

    Cool that there is royalty posting on this board -- is your Indiana castle featured in the Indiana tourism ads?

    Although they did get the World Series win - and anorther time in the Series -- the Royals time as a good team did not last very long - esp. after such a long period of not being good.

    At least we no longer have to hear about this year being the year that the curse could be broken anytime they have a winning record, or how the curse lives when they do something like this.

    I saw a trailer for that -- it looked like it could be good, but I was wondering if you need to watch it if you know if you had seen the Wicker Man.

    Good to know about the kids and kennels -- I will have to make some changes when I walk my nieces and nephews in the future. I have some Kongs in the freezer to be used for kennel time. She is actually crashed out there now on her own. My other dog tolerated it, but only went in there to grab a toy and quickly exit.

    Now I need someone to get up and change the channel and adjust the rabbit ears.

    I cannot - which is why I asked what it was like. I am still waiting for them to start broadcasting the games on channel 29 again.

    From the radio - hard to tell - did Sano almost collide and crush with Eddie or is Gladden being over-dramatic?

    I wonder if it still has the big government cheese block. I wonder how much second hand smoke I took in. Even eating pizza at Leaning Tower -- people were still smoking in restaurants. I used to vote at the Jefferson grade school. Do Ember's exist anymore?

    I did like living there - walking distance from Liquor Lyle's and Leaning Tower. Title Wave became a Hollywood Video and is now fine dining. Actually there were three video stores within a block and a half -- times change.

    It has been a busy year so have not posted as much (and as the this thread suggests - the threads have trended more negatively), but will try to participate bit more for the rest of the year (hopefully deep into October). Semi-related -- am adopting 1.5 year old dog tomorrow, part of my posting will be if she is understands the importance and quietly listens to the game as I post While they are fun -- you always forget how much time and energy younger dogs can take up.

    Hey - been awhile since I posted - but have been wondering who did Squirrel used to be? I missed the name change, or did the real Rally Squirrel recently joined the forum and has simply had the time to post over 24,000 times in a few weeks? And if it is the real Rally Squirrel - is it true you are trying to sabotage TC Bear so you can be the primary woodland mascot for the Twins? I heard you might have spiked his honey with something that made him act inappropriately at some fan event and is now taking sensitivity classes. I am starting to think the early part of the season might not have been a fluke.

    Plus where I lived two of those channels were the same station (10 and 13 were both ABC). Every once in a while we would get channel 2 from Thunder Bay where they had a Captain Kangaroo type show, but he was a giant who lived in a castle - so that was exciting.     Yes - I graduated in '86, and anyone who had a car, it was far from new, whether it was technically their car or their parents let them use the "second" car.
