    So you are saying they probably made the right decision in ending the Sano as outfielder experiment? That seems like a bit unreal now - like something a bit crazy that could only happen in a fever dream but never really happened.

    Must be kind of a bummer to have it so close to a national holiday (Bert's Birthday). It probably gets lost in the festivities of that great American tradition that will be celebrated in a few days. (Ah - I see someone already mentioned Bert's Day - hard to escape such a big event).

    I am pretty sure Ms. Piggy would consider herself at least a queen or possibly empress. Damn - too busy at work today -- and this thread is moving. I am afraid I am going to miss some really well thought-out and rational posts by not being able to read everything.

    Listening to Seth Stohs on Ruese right now. Damn -- now Falvey might be taking away some of Seth's air time. Damn you Falvey - we want Seth!

    Sid Hartman was at the media luncheon. I don't always care for Sid or what he has to say, but he is going to outlive us all. He is one tough b^&%$%#.

    I think he will be somewhat similar to last year, but maybe with fewer of the dips if he is rested more. I could never understand why they did not DL him in August when it was clear something was wrong and a few days rests were not helping, if I remember correctly we were not in play-off contention, and there were plenty of players that could have used a closer look. I think Molitor later admitted that he made a mistake not DLing right away. Historically, I think they have been over-sensitive to the "he is soft" criticism that there have been times they have overplayed him to both his and the team's detriment. It sounds like that will not be the case this year.

    Looks like he fainted when you said he was still going to have to watch the Twins bullpen until the weekend.

    You have some work to do. I am pretty sure I was able to canoe on Canadian water on Moose Lake last month (we tend to have about five names for all of our lakes), and security was pretty lax. If there would have been some exotic Canadian product that had a high demand to smuggle back with me - I could have done it easily. Who is paying for this wall? You might want to try billing the city of Roseau. I think Ely would just ignore you.
