    I'd be happy with him just playing the majority of the season in AAA....

    They need more RH help. I don't know why they haven't signed Kopech. With his injury history and this late in the year he could probably be had for a minor league deal. Expecting Sands or Topa to close out games is laughable. If they're trying to prove to us fans that they want to be competitive, they should sign Kopech and then trade an OF and/or Jackson for a closer.

    Versatility is nice and all, but we already have too many outfielders and not enough QUALITY infielders. If they want Keaschal to improve his 2b defense, he needs to log innings there everyday.

    This year should not be about chasing a wild ard spot, but analyzing our young talent. Find out who's ready for the bigs and where they fit on the roster. For pitchers, find out who stays in the rotation and who is best in the pen. Over the off-season, the roster needs to be better constructed and probably a lot of guys moved on from to make room for the next wave of guys like Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez, Culpeper and anyone else who looks ready. They have to move on from these big slow DH type guys who can't field for ****. Getting more athletic and aggressive style kind of guys on the team will make for a much more entertaining watch.

    I think unless Lee has a breakout year, he's destined for an infield utility role. He still has value at that position as someone who can competently cover 2nd, SS and 3rd. We really need Culpeper to continue raking and force a call up, hopefully next year.

    If he keeps pitching like this I really hope he's rewarded with a rotation spot. If he can put it all together this year it would go a long way towards solidifying this rotation.

    If Abel keeps pitching like this I hope he gets rewarded with a rotation spot. Same with Roden in the OF. He has way more upside than Outman and has looked good enough in CF to be a backup to Buck. Wallner has looked lost at the plate and I just hope Jenkins, E Rod and Gonzalez light it up in AAA and force a call up conversation, because I don't see either Larnach or Wallner being long term answers.

    An OF of Buxton, Jenkins, E Rod and Gonzalez is fun to dream on. Then we've got Martin who could be a good 4rth OF. Roden has been tearing it up in spring training, gonna be hard to keep him off the roster. They better not give Outman the job just because he's out of options. If they really want to compete this year, you've got to go with the BEST player. Crazy idea, I know...

    I don't think Wallner will make enough contact to even come close to 40 HR. It's nice to dream though...

    Outman out, Roden in. Would much rather see a Martin/Roden platoon in LF than see Outman or Larnach out there. Pitching wise, if Abel keeps pitching like he has this spring, then he needs a spot in the rotation. I'm very worried for our bullpen, especially from the right side. They need to sign a Kopech or someone.

    Keep Keaschal at 2nd and let him improve his defense with everyday reps. If Culpeper gets called up I think Lee would be a good utility guy who could cover 2nd, SS, and 3rd. With Lewis always being an injury risk it'd be nice to have Lee as the backup. We have more than enough outfielders, I say let him get comfortable in the infield.

    Probably a good risk to take, but they won't. We have an amazing pitching pipeline after all ;)

    There has got to be something going on when similar injuries happen this early three years in a row...

    Season hasn't even started and the injuries have already begun. I think a good way for the new Pohlad to prove he wants to be competitive would be to bring in some reinforcement. Sign Giolito or Litell for the rotation and bring in Kopech to shore up the right side of the pen. At this point he could probably be had on another minor league deal

    Larnach and Wallner may be on their last year with the Twins unless they truly break out. With Roden, Martin, Rodriguez, Gonzalez and Jenkins looking close to being ready, there is just no roster spots for them anymore. Gotta go with the higher upside, younger, more athletic guys I think.

    I think they need the limited roster spot for the OF. This roster construction is already a mess, they need to clean it up and even it out, not make it worse...

    Long term, I think they need to move on from Larnach and Wallner, unless one of them can learn to play a competent first base. They need to go younger and more athletic meaning Martin and Roden in left and eventually E Rod in RF.

    I hope Mendez gets plenty of 1B reps this year. His bat is intriguing, but we have too many LH OF already. Culpeper could be a fun guy to watch if he stays healthy this year, I had no idea he had that kind of velo.

    The only thing that matters are ACTUAL numbers, and Outman is not a starter. He would maybe even pass through waivers. He has no business taking at bats away from Martin, Roden, E Rod, Jenkins, Gonzalez, etc....

    Martin deserves a roster spot. Both Larnach and Wallner are nothing more than DH's at this point and are definitely blocking younger more exciting outfielders.

    An Of of Jenkins, Rodriguez and Gonzalez is a nice idea. Now we just need some IF prospects. Culpeper should work out hopefully, but he might be another year away. I think with the way the season is likely to play out, it's time to move on from some of these redundant, defensively limited guys (Wallner, Larnach, Outman) and let the young kids play and develop.

    As others have said already, the roster construction on this team is an absolute mess:(

    I'm guessing they will trade away anyone not nailed down or injured at the deadline this year when we're in last place.
