    Curious if he's a rental or has control for next year?

    Would love it if we could find a way. A '27 rotation of Lopez, Ryan, Greene, Bradley and Ober/Rojas/Abel. We'd have one of the best rotations in the league. Assuming everyone was healthy....

    I wish we'd get a controllable playoff caliber SP. Someone like Detmers or Soriano. Hancock to a lesser degree. Gives us another starter in the rotation and also strengthens our pen by allowing us to move someone like Zebby or Prelipp into relief roles. Not to mention, if we trade Joe Ryan in the off-season, we're going to need someone solid to replace him.

    I understand trading Larnach given our stash of lefty OF's, but I think we need to target RP with at least another year of control. If we have to throw in a little extra with Larnach like a prospect to get it done so be it. If we only go after rentals, we're just going to need to rebuild the pen again in the off-season.

    Or they should just go out and trade for a playoff caliber starter with another year of control. Detmers or Soriano would be great.

    Sabato has earned at least a cup of coffee or could be used in a trade. Nice to see Rodriguez playing again, but 8 K's in 11 AB's? Small sample size but this is A ball!

    Like the deal a lot. Now if we could get a high end righty, ideally not just a rental, it'd be great. Would love to grab a controllable starter too.

    Sucks to lose Buck at this stage of the season. Hopefully he's not out too long. Hopefully Festa and even more importantly Abel will be healthy for next season. Speaking of Canterino, what's up with him? Did his arm finally fall off? I thought he was supposed to be throwing again by now. Haven't seen anything about him being released?

    I think Jeffers and Larnach should be enough for a top 100 pitching prospect who hopefully is AA/AAA level or higher. We should be planning for contention next year.

    With multiple teams looking for catching, and Jeffers the only realistic option available now that Langaliers went down, I think we can maybe get close to a top 100 prospect. Even if we have to throw in a sweetener of our own, hopefully we can hit on a good young pitcher.

    I would definitely take Hancock for Jeffers. Twins need pitching, as always. Could use some relievers with control too. Maybe we can acquire a few with some kind of package including Larnach, Wallner, Bell or Rogers.

    Culpeper just came back from injury. Let's let him find his swing and get comfortable before considering a call up. It's getting really hard to not get excited about Houston, dude has raked all year. Dasan Hill has not looked good this year. Really, a lot of our young pitching hasn't looked great. Hopefully some of the arms we just drafted turn into something decent. Maybe we come away with some good young arms at the trade deadline...

    Love the SEA trade. If we trade Ryan, we need controllable, high upside pitching in return. I also wouldn't mind keeping him. SEA is open to trading young controllable SP Hancock apparently. If we can get him for Jeffers and/or Larnach it'd be great. Imagine a 2027 rotation of Lopez Ryan Bradley Hancock Abel Not bad at all. Then a bullpen of Gomez, Morris, Mathews, Festa. It's a good start.

    I think we can trade Jeffers and/or Larnach and still be buyers. We just need to get young, controllable, MLB or near MLB ready arms

    I just hope whatever talent they can acquire has at least another year or two of control. This isn't our year, we should start to prepare for '27...

    I hope we keep Ryan. High end pitching is the best asset a team can have. Maybe we can get the next Joe Ryan when we trade Jeffers at the deadline.

    We need a dependable SP and one, if not two late inning RP.

    I hope they grab Lackey or any of the top three that are available. After that, load up on the best pitching available!

    I think we need pitching more than anything. Ideally MLB or near MLB ready, high end, young controllable arms.

    Larnach and Jeffers should be able to get us a few solid RP, ideally with more years of control than just rentals for this year.

    I actually think we have a solid looking infield coming up. Culpeper, Houston, Lee. OF is looking up too with Keaschal, Jenkins, E Rod.... Now if we could just hit on some pitching prospects we'd be in a real good position.

    Twins system is definitely weak on pitching. Hopefully we can remedy this at the trade deadline and get some high end, AAA/MLB ready type arms.

    He's earned his spot. I like having him as a bulk reliever in the pen to piggyback Prelipp or Ober and cover innings. A pen of Gomez, Morris, Parades, Rojas and Culpeper starts to look a bit better. At least closer to average....

    Might as well put Rojas and Culpeper out there in the pen and see what they can do.

    We've definitely got some interesting looking hitters in our system. Now if we could only find some pitching.....
