  1. Correa sure isn't leading by example. He is a huge part of the problem
  2. Don't forget the most important! When we get Wallner, Lopez and Lewis back, it will be like making 3 HUGE trades! Puke...
  3. Well, if you take yesterday's game and tonight's game, we are .500. That's not bad!
  4. Topa fits right into this bullpen
  5. Let's say the Twins lose 100+ games this year. Pohlad is still the owner next year. Baldelli may or may not be here. Falvey of course will be back if Pohlad still owns. What will they do to field a team next year, if this is the best they could do this year?
  6. Number 50 in MLB. Fabulous. Doesn't that prove how terrible this line up is? France is .345 and people are ready to get rid of him. Wallner is .362.
  7. Very well said. But I would say adequate instead of formidable.
  8. If there isn't an effort problem, then the talent is worse than what we imagine.
  9. I agree with everything you said! Except... keep France. He is really the only guy i see giving some effort. Maybe keep Bader too.
  10. I agree with you. I have coached high school level ball players myself. However I am not MLB qualified, as Rocco is not MLB qualified. That is all I meant by my comment. If high school coaches were competent enough to manage an MLB team, they wouldn't be in high school ball.
  11. A competent manager could do better, but not near enough to make a huge difference with this roster of minor leaguers. Hopefully with a new manager they can at least make things a little more exciting. Like maybe .400 ball?
  12. It IS about the roster being managed by a high school quality manager. It's a losing equation.
  13. Problem is they are no better than what we already have. But wouldn't hurt to try something new
  14. Roster full of guys that shouldn't be in the major leagues, period. Wallner, Miranda, Julien, Larnach, Gasper, even Buxton is marginal. I won't even go into the pitching. Half the bullpen probably? They can't win with this team. If you think they can, you are part of the problem.
  15. Only gives the Twins reason to keep him around for another start. That's a TERRIBLE sign.
  16. I have said many times, we have a roster of guys that shouldn't be in the major leagues. Wallner, Julien. Gasper, Buxton, Larnach, Miranda etc etc etc. And if you think they should be, you are part of the problem. And that's not even talking about the pitching.
  17. But our rotation is strong 1 through 5. Who wouldn't want Paddack as a number 4 starter. SWR is just gravy on top of that. Put that together with the best bullpen in the majors, you don't need much offense.
  18. True. However how would you like to spend everyday with this bunch? Maybe a better team would bring out better results in him, like his Houston teams.
