    Problem is, half if not more of the roster is non-essential. I guess I just don't know why Clemens is singled out, that's all.

    Problem is a sad one. Clemens is one of the best hitters on the roster. Until we bring up a bunch from St Paul, he is what we have. Who is better except for Keaschall or Buxton? Certainly not Wallner. Lee, Bell, Lewis etc., etc.

    Looks like it's going to be a bullpen game. Heavily favors the Twins!

    I think alot of decisions are being made due to the thought there won't be any baseball next year. They are saving service time. Might as run the has beens and never weres out there and lose 100+games this year.

    Surprised about Hendricks, but our bullpen IS elite. Great choice keeping Abel over Matthews.

    I'm curious. What would be your definition of a disaster? A BP without Festa?

    I agree, great point. It's not like we are going to challenge for a playoff spot anyway. Spread out the innings, save arms and see what we have.

    Realistically all we have is Ryan and then it's a crapshoot with 5-6 mediocre at best interchangeable parts.

    When they stole 2nd base back to back, Jeffers had a defeatist look on his face. I'm worried he really wished the trade rumors would have come true.
