    Many available. Neto, T Hernandez etc etc. I'm not management, I don't know who they want to get rid of. You want Abrams? Let's get him. How serious are we going to be?

    I agree, 1 rookie and Neto, and T Hernandez. That's all I'm saying. Go all in.

    Next year, not for a playoff push. Or bring them up this year to deepen the bench. All I'm saying is we need proven ability and major league experience for the playoff push. I would rather have a Neto and T. Hernandez than a rookie. Go for it! Are we going to be serious contenders or not?

    You can't count on rookies to improve this lineup. We need an established hitter or two. I also said we need another SP which would help keep us out of the scenario you proposed.

    I'm thinking we need bats more than pitching at the deadline. Look at the lineup we had to put out there today. (It wouldn't even scare Randy Dobnak!) However, we could use another SP that could slot in at the 3rd spot in the rotation at least. Ryan is struggling and everyone else is hit and miss. We could probably fly with the BP we have now.

    I read they are in on Detmers. I also think they would be more active than the Twins. They must be giddy that they are in this position.

    My first game was against the seattle pilots at the met. Knothole game. Leroy Stanton for the Pilots in left. Needless to say we must have been sitting in the left field bleachers.

    What did you think of seattle? I thought it was a little plain but very quaint. I actually liked it Been there a few times.

    I sat behind a pole at Wrigley. Wasn't the greatest experience. And the pole wasn't a guy with a name that ended in ski.

    Went to St Louis in the Pujols days. Game against the Cubs. Pretty raucous that day.

    I've been to 18 stadiums and these 6 are also ones I need to attend along with others on the east coast, Atlanta, Miami and Texas. Went to old Rangers Park but now have to go to new one.
