    I was in Oakland once to watch the A's. Felt special with the history there, but also very cavernous and dead.

    The A was used back in 1968 and 1969. Went to A's in 1970.

    When the camera spanned the dugout showing Kotsay and the rest of the team, a thought hit me. Isn't it sad what has happened with this franchise over the past years and now that they are moving to Vegas? The A's were my favorite team in the late 60's and 70's with Campy, Rudi, Hunter, Bando, Monday and who can forget Vida Blue.

    We have a few Zoll, Falvey, FO apologists on here Harmon. I know it's frustrating because sometimes it's hard for them to see the forest through the trees. But I guess it's their opinion.

    No. Just be smarter. You can't be serious with your comments, if you are you must work in the Twins FO.

    You shouldn't have let yourself get into the situation in the first place by trading Duran, Varland, and Jax for marginal or less players. Even Stewart is better than what we have now. Now let's let Ryan, and Lopez go so we can pick up more garbage like we are now.

    How did he get lousy pitchers on the roster?? OMG, I had no clue?? I have an idea, get rid of the lousy pitchers and sign more lousy pitchers. That seems to work for you?

    I guess we will see. He prob is too good to be on this roster. We should prob trade him for some "prospects".

    Well I was talking about the trade deadline mess from last year. Do you think they pulled one over on the Rays or the blind squirrel found a nut? I might lean towards the latter with their recent lack of success.

    Go scout the 12U little league games. Maybe he can get a jump on the youngsters. He looks like a fool signing these retreats one day and releasing the next.

    Roden is part of the team because his value and ability are the definition of what the Twins are. Not because he is truly a valuable MLB player. The whole roster (except for a handful of players) falls under this definition.

    I don't agree that just because Roden, Rojas, Abel and Bradley have played on the big club they were successful trades. Just shows how weak we are. I do agree time will tell on others.

    Don't know what you mean about Ryan, other than he was a good trade. In last year's sell off, Taj is ok, Roden is blah, Abel, jury still out. Rojas, not impressed. Everyone else, we wait. Not a great haul for what we traded.

    I can't wait until baseball in July means something again. Hopefully it won't be too many years from now.

    True. But that didn't have to happen either if Paredes wasnt allowed to load the bases.

    Exactly! I just posted the same thing. We got marginal talent during our big sell off.

    Problem is management doesn't know what a good prospect is. How many are contributing from our big sell of last year? I know Abel is hurt and some aren't ready, but i am skeptical that they know how to judge talent. Other team GM's probably salivate when they know they can fleece us with "prospects".
