  1. My guess is the Twins will hire The manager of their Dominican summer league team as manager and a former cricket player from India as bench coach, in a bid to find an underutilized resource that displays Joe Poulad's visionary leadership.
  2. Andy McPhail left because he didn't believe small and mid market teams could compete anymore.
  3. I have a feeling we wont have a designated closer next year. I think Roccco (he's not going anywhere, unfortunately.) will go with a closer by committee approach. Even with Duran he seemed to want to go this way, but Duran was just to good to do it.
  4. One of these outfielders need to be given a first basemen glove and sent to Fort Meyers for instruction.
  5. I Think Jeffers will be traded. Its his last year before free agency and considering who his agent is I don't see the Twins being able to extend him. Larnach may be able to be traded to someone for a reliever or a middling prospect. Sad return for a first round pick.
  6. I think one of Lopez/Ryan will be traded. I prefer to keep Pablo as a mentor to all the young guys. I have one question. I keep seeing people referring to cutting payroll before a lockout in 2027. What difference does it make? If there is a lockout no one is getting paid anyway so it doesn't hurt the owners bottom line.
  7. They will just hire Rocco's twin. It may or may not give a bump, but the new hire will reflect Falvey's philosophy on what a manager should be.
  8. One start does not constitute a breakthrough. However I do think he can be a mid rotation starter for this team. Not because he has great stuff but because he seems to be learning how to pitch not just throw, and he believes in himself which is half the battle.
  9. I would love to see him play in a world series for the Twins. I don't see that happening in the years he has left to play. I hope he approves a trade to a team with a real shot getting him in one. (just not the Yankees)
  10. He has pitched very few innings since high school. He needs to learn how to pitch not just throw. It would help him a lot to be teamed up with a good game calling catcher who can teach him how to get hitters out. I don't think St. Paul has that.
  11. Your entitled to your opinion and I agree that neither of these guys belong on the team. But referring to them as something is just disrespectful. They are human beings and deserve to be treated as such.
  12. Shouldn't we wait until the 2025 draftees have signed a contract before they are included in any list?
  13. After the numbers this staff put up during June no one deserves an award.
  14. I'm going to put a positive spin on this. Just maybe a sale is close to happening and Falvey is making sure his little buddy gets a check for next year.
  15. Who was the last deadline move to make a difference Shannon Stewart in 03?
  16. The win streak was a mirage. This is our 2025 Minnesota Twins. No hitting and when a couple pitchers go down the pressure crushes the rest of them.
  17. I would be very careful projecting much for Prelipp. The man has pitched a total of 90 innings the last five years. 55 of those last year and this year. Only 28 innings in collage. He may have MLB caliber pitches but he still needs to learn HOW to pitch. Have some patience.
  18. Even if they do figure it out I'm not sure either of them has a place to play anymore. Maybe if they come around they can part of a trade for a reliever at the deadline.
  19. I don't enjoy saying this, but if the Twins can hold onto 3rd place and sneak into the play offs, they will have exceeded my expectations.
  20. So nice to see them fight back from a deficit. For the last half season when they fell behind the game was over.
  21. I have more faith in Miranda finding his way back. Julien is just a butcher in the field. I don't see any way for him to become playable.
