    Every time the term “depth” is used to describe the twins injuries change the conversation. Martin Emma Buxton Jenkins etc all have injury histories. Keep ‘em all. DFA Outman at some point if you need too.

    Glad they are adding resources for the players. But outside of a few players this offense is currently built on hopes and prayers. It may end up ranking lower than the bullpen.

    This offense needs a bigger bat than Goldschmidt if they plan to be competitive. Otherwise tear it down all the way and reload for 2028.

    It does seem like the Twins moved on from at least a good hitting coach. I seem to remember that Correa was impressed with Popkins. Who made the call to fire him? Falvey? Or did Baldelli lobby the front office for a new face? Anyway, not a good look for the organization.

    Correa, Lopez, and Ober performing as expected would have kept this team in the playoff hunt. Seems injuries impacted them all?

    Just watched the second time he walked the lead off batter. Damn.

    I agree he is human. I give Houston credit for beating him. My point isn’t his performance on the mound. My point is his response to those things. If you accept you were beat you figure out how not too let that happen again. Like “I cannot walk the lead off batter in This situation.” That is the mentality that makes you better. If you dismiss it as bad luck luck that means you think you can do the same thing again and expect a better outcome. That mentality doesn’t lead to improved performance and outcomes.

    Duran WALKED the lead off batter. Then gives up two singles. Then make this statement in the post game: “Soft grounder in a bad spot,” Twins closer Jhoan Duran said, shaking his head after giving up a run for only the seventh time in 33 appearances this season. “Baseball luck.” He walked the winning runner. “Baseball luck” did not throw 4 balls. Or give up two singles. if I’m the manager……”Own your failure and dominate next time you are on the mound.”

    TwinsTV very poor communication by mlb and broadcasters on the delay. TwinsTV gives us minor league games which is great but update us on the major league start time!

    Depth on the position side…and depth on the pitching side. This front office is terrible

    The twins crashed and burned with Festa and Matthew’s in the rotation last fall……. Not saying that is a guarantee it would happen again but a little more seasoning in AAA isn’t going to “waste” them. We will need them this summer and likely need plenty of them, Depth is a strength.

    I think we need to give Lewis a chance. He was a rookie who seems athletic enough - let him take some consistent reps at third before you say he’s got to go to first base.
