    Shelton has done well with what he was given in terms of roster….. The future looks brighter with Jenkins, Rodriguez, Houston, Lackey, Culpepper? Lewis looks like he may become pretty good at first?

    What is going on in Houston? Why is the owner nixing a trade the GM wanted? How does this information reach social media? Not a good look for the Astros.

    I agree. Positional flexibility leads to jack of all trades…. master of none type players. The ownership issues tying the front office’s hands to properly construct a roster contributed to this mess. But the musical chairs infield and outfield position changes has to come to an end.

    Every time the term “depth” is used to describe the twins injuries change the conversation. Martin Emma Buxton Jenkins etc all have injury histories. Keep ‘em all. DFA Outman at some point if you need too.

    Had they not traded Varland….. the bullpen looks so much better for the next many years. The return for him better stand out

    The dumpster fire started by the Polhads continues to burn. Causalities mounting. Fans, players, coaches, front office paying the price.

    Shouldn’t the title be “Twins pull Joe Ryan off the trade market” ?

    Glad they are adding resources for the players. But outside of a few players this offense is currently built on hopes and prayers. It may end up ranking lower than the bullpen.

    This offense needs a bigger bat than Goldschmidt if they plan to be competitive. Otherwise tear it down all the way and reload for 2028.
