  1. The sale of this team unfortunately is a long way away. With the debt its carrying and no TV deal why would buyers look at this as a good investment. Yes there is a stadium but now a product that is not watchable. And the FO and manager have taken this team to the bottom of league.
  2. Send a scout out to parks around town I'm sure they can find a softball pitcher with a better fastball than Davis. We now see Rocco has an excuse for losing because he has no BP.
  3. It was hard to trade anyone injured at the deadline that has a no trade. Trading expiring contracts was wise, but gutting the BP was stupid. The SP can't go more than 4-5 innings and now they're running batting practice pitchers out to mop up the mess. I understand Buxton didn't want to uproot his family but this team will be a AAA team for years. Everyone thought players like Julien,Miranda,Lewis and more were the future, not so much. Buxton is now on the back side of his career. He will not even see a playoff game nevertheless a WS with this organization.
  4. Don't get to excited this team struck out 41 times in 3 games. As far as Clemens goes that was all him. We all know that Rocco would not want to waste an out on something like that. Here is something that I found the other day. This is for all the fans that think the HR is the end all be all. The number of players with 25 or more is 17 in both AL and NL.
  5. First off the 13-1 loss was to be expected when rumors were flying that the team was open for business. We've all had jobs were we know the end is near. Trading contracts that end at the end of the season is one thing but gutting the BP should not have happened. Watching Correa the last month or more you saw he wanted out.
  6. The game is called baseball, this team doesn't play it. The manager is clueless and its unwatchable.
  7. The real problem here is the FO and manager they are the one's that put the team together. Now it's not working the way they thought. How is it that you cater to a player like Lewis who can't stay healthy. The manager plays checkers with other players all over the field. Correa burned the Twins when he oped out the first time. Then when things didn't go his way in FA he came back. And the FO was more than willing to forgive and forget. He is finally gone and back were he always wanted to be. Just looked at today's lineup and Martin is not in it,didn't he do the most in last nights game. That's Rocco ball in a nutshell.
  8. They say bunting is wasting an out, then what is striking out. Different day same crap. Don't believe anyone had any interest in what Falvey had to say. The only thing that might have made fans feel better would have been he and Rocco are resigning.
  9. The best trade yesterday was Correa back to the Astros. With his bad feet and declining play the cost was too high. The trade of Varland and Jax was all about them wanting to be SP. Also the Jax blow up at Rocco made the manager look bad. And everyone knows that is a no no.
  10. They did pick a lane. They fired the players not the manager. They just proved the experts wrong you can fire the players.
  11. The organization is now the Marlins of the north. Its time to move the Saints into Target Field. They traded 10 players off the 26 man roster leaving the so called best BP empty.
  12. All the talk about a rebuild, who here wants Rocco to be any part of that. This team has mailed it in and will be lucky to win 20 games. I had them finishing the season in 4th place at the start of the season. It now looks like they may finish in 5th place.
  13. This team has become a laughing stock losing to both the Rockies and the Nationals. Time to be honest about players like Wallner and Lee. They can't play Wallner in RF because he is a liability with his glove. He really should be back in St Paul. And putting Lee at 2nd has been a bad idea. He has shown his reactions aren't there. Hopefully they get Keaschall back today to play 2nd. Also time for Martin to play LF if Buxton is down. That means Keirsey in CF if Bader is gone.
  14. The players are all freaking out wondering if they will be gone by Thursday. The problem is its time to show up and do something. This is the job of the manager and unfortunately they don't have one. You can trade this guy or that guy,but nothing will change. They only play homerun not baseball. Listening to the booth almost every time Corey P opens his mouth he's talking about the homerun. Time for a clean sweep from the FO all the way to the booth.
  15. Its a poorly run franchise who has already made the mistake of telling Rocco he's back next year. Why would anyone trust Falvey to make a good decision on trading anyone. The season is going to be determined by the middle of August with all the division game starting Friday.
  16. Short and sweet can't walk Ruiz, make him swing the bat!!
  17. The Rocco effect could have cost them the game. How do you let SWR pitch to Pages after throwing 9 balls in a row. Basically SWR walked up and put the ball on a tee for him. The thing that saved them was the Dodgers bad defense, booting groundballs and bad throws.
  18. Don't play baseball, men on 1st and 2nd no outs swing for the fences even with 2 strikes. How about trying to move the runners up. Went to bed knowing game was over in the 5th.
  19. I don't know the last time I looked pitchers don't swinging the bat other than Ohtani. This team needs bats more than arms.
  20. How has selling improved this team other than Lopez and Ryan. They are still waiting on SWR and Martin. Bringing in talent to play in Wichita and St Paul hoping someone makes it to the show won't help. The team doesn't play baseball, they play homerun. Until they change their mindset it doesn't matter what the talent is. Yes the homerun has a place in the game, but can't be the end all be all.
  21. Because of how bad this clown show is they are pitching Ryan today. They really needed to save him for Monday or Tuesday against the Dodgers. If they were 1-1 in the series they probably would have had SWR or Festa go. They can sell at the deadline, but what is going to change. They still have the same management in the office and dugout.
  22. This team can't afford to be down 4 or 5 runs after 1 inning. All the whining about France is not the biggest problem. How about the 35 million dollar man. He came up with runners in scoring position twice and failed. With the team being for sale they will be doing very little to change what they are. They won't be filling positions with anyone from St Paul. All you have to do is see the moves they have made so far. Nothing is going to change until the organization has changed top to bottom.
  23. With an offense as bad as this team is they can't have Clemens and Wallner in the lineup together. They both strike out 2 and 3 times a game. The biggest problem is other than Buxton they don't do the little things needed to win. And praising Rocco for calling for a contact play or bunt once every 10 games is silly.
  24. Everyone has been saying they need more pitching and now let's trade some away. I don't think you will see Miranda or Julien in a Twins uniform again,so let's start there. Just remember at the season's end they will be down to one catcher. You don't hear anything about the catching they have in the wings. And another thing the team is for sale,do they really want to start weakening the team.
  25. They all had their bags packed in the clubhouse and no interest in the game. Over and under throws to first. Giving up on slow rollers in the middle of the field. Wallner playing a single into a double. If you watched SWR on the mound you saw the disappointment on his face.
