  1. I'll be listening to Cory and Dazzle tonight. I need to catch up on how many opposing players names that Dazzle can't pronounce. He had a lot of trouble yesterday with Cronenworth.
  2. They already signed Paddack to an extension. He won't be a free agent until after the 2025 season.
  3. I definitely can understand the reasoning for the trade, but there's no doubt it didn't work out for us. I don't know that I'd be interested in re-signing him, unless it's one hell of a bargain. For as little as we've actually seen him pitch, it's almost like he was never even here. I think it's probably a good idea to just take the loss on all of it and move on.
  4. I think we should score a couple more runs...just for the hell of it.
  5. The bases loaded curse continues.
  6. The bases loaded curse continues. One run, on a walk...YUCK!!!!
  7. First Paddack...now Mahle. Not the best luck when it comes to trading for pitchers. I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky that Lopez doesn't seem to be heading down this road.
  8. AK is the only guy in the lineup, that actually looks like he has a plan at the plate. His swing is under control and he isn't trying to go yard on every swing. Unlike EVERYONE else on this team. I hope he retains this mind set, and doesn't become one of the crowd of homer happy teammates. He needs to stay healthy and stay in the lineup.
  9. Hopefully, Farmer is ok and ready. I mean mentally ready too. He just took a FB to the chops. That can really mess up a guy for a while. I want him healthy and able to give us some production.
  10. Too bad we can't send Correa down with Miranda, and try to do a reset on both of them!
  11. Fundamentals? WTF! Not on this team. Sloppy baseball is this teams identity.
  12. I hope you're right, but I think it already went off...and nobody can find it.
  13. He was one tough S.O.B. He played in the CFL before coming here, but it's too bad he didn't play for the Vikes for more than three years. He would've gotten us to another SB...and won.
  14. Little bit of rain heading our way, but by the looks of the radar, it might be dying out or possibly miss us. Unfortunately, the Pads will be able to kick our butts tonight.
  15. I wasn't even remotely aware of this, but it doesn't surprise me in the least.
  16. I swear...you can't make this %&*#$% up!
  17. The curse of the bases loaded can not be broken!
  18. They're doing exactly what we don't do. String hits together.
  19. I'm sure this is an over simplification, but he needs to look at some video of his swing. A lot of the time, he looks like he's swinging an ax out there, instead of a level on plane swing. It's like he's trying to chop down on the pitch, not square it up. He's never going to win a gold glove at 3rd, but it does kind of look like his arm/shoulder may still be bothering him.
  20. It's not that I don't like him, but I'm honestly not a real big fan. It's kind of an I could take him or leave him feeling. It sure wouldn't bother me if he was gone. The thing is...just when I'm about to scream at the tv because he'll probably hit another weak grounder or pop up, he crushes one like last night and wins a game for us. Rocco must love him though, because he plays just about every game.
  21. Agree...kind of surprised he isn't playing. So there's a lefty going for Cleve...get AK in there anyway.
  22. Well...he's a big guy, but I think if you feed him enough...he's sustainable.
  23. Ober's almost at 80 pitches. He's been great, but he won't be in there too much longer. It'll be up to the pen to hold on.
  24. It's a slug-fest in Cleve. One hit total for both teams. Ober and Battenfield are killing it.
