  1. Buxton might be worse offensively. He is at least disciplined and everyone agrees he is absolutely reliable on the field. Did Buxton win gold glove last year? Let's talk about achievement.
  2. Bobby Wilson is really pathetic at the plate.
  3. I don't understand why everyone is so high on Polanco. He has not achieved anything at the major league level and he's already busted for PEDS. Should he be a starter over Escobar? Someone who is busted for PEDS over someone who is always hardworking and well-liked in the clubhouse? Give me a break.
  4. Goodrum hit 2 homers and drove in 5 runs for Gardenhire and the Tigers. He hit a two-run homer against Carrasco. He is definitely better than Adrianza.
  5. I hope Adrianza would be let go when Polanco comes back.
  6. Morrison is having a good game offensively, he is really taking good at bat against a very tough pitcher.
  7. Romero is a bit wild. He really needs to control his pitches better.
  8. If he pulls him and it works, Molly is right. If he keeps him in and it works, Molly is right. Wow, it's just so easy. Molly is really good at it.
  9. It's better to let Pressly start a clean inning. He is known to let inherited runners score.
  10. When Salazar comes back, Cleveland might run away. Look at the ERA of their top 4 starters: Bauer 2.53 Kluber 2.62 Clevinger 2.76 Carrasco 3.61
  11. Minor league career? Can you back up your statement with stats?
  12. Don't forget Polanco might be worse than Escobar on the field. At least we know Escobar has a better bat with more power. Escobar should be the starter over Polanco. If you think great bat and below average fielding do not work long term, that should also apply to Polanco. Please don't treat players with different standard. Why do you have to hope for someone to hold down a position? Nothing should be given. Let the performance do the talk. Escobar is producing on and off the field. Polanco could not even get on the field.
  13. The difference is Escobar usually does not overdo it (Escobar does not do anything he is incapable of). Please don't make excuses for making errors on the field. Polanco gets paid as a professional baseball player. He is not the only one who has to deal with family loss. Anyway they are about the same on the field with Escobar having the slight edge. Escobar certainly has a better bat with more power. Escobar should get the starting job over Polanco.
  14. Which Polanco are you talking about? The one who has been suspended for 80 games or the one who made too many errors on the field? He might be a part moving forward, I am not sure he is the key guy though. Especially if the key guys are Buxton, Sano, Lewis, Romero, Gonsalves and Gordon.
  15. What makes you think Escobar can't play defense well enough to be the everyday shortstop? Can you back up your statement with stats? If Polanco can be the everyday shortstop, why can't Escobar be? I don't understand why people still doubt Escobar when he again and again proves himself. Escobar has more than earned to be an IF starter for any position he wants to play period. He is probably an average fielder.
  16. Romero, Santana, Berrios, Gibson and Odorizzi. Lynn could be the long reliever when Santana comes back. May could be a bullpen arm. Hughes might be the odd man out since he is not effective anymore.
  17. I don't understand why people still think May should be a starter. He hasn't had much success being a starter. I would be happy if he can become a reliable bullpen arm.
  18. When Santana comes back, Lynn could be the long reliever they need.
  19. When was last time Joe swing at the first pitch? He needs to be less predictable.
  20. Grossman needs to be let go as soon as Buxton comes back. LaMarre or Wade can be the 4th outfielder for now.
  21. I believe Duke is going to be fine.
  22. It would be so wonderful if we didn't sign those four: Lynn, Morrison, Hughes and Rodney.
  23. One of the only positives for the Twins during this young season: Escobar. I don't understand why lots of people are still screaming for Polanco to come back. I believe Escobar has more than earned the starting SS job. Polanco can now become a utility guy. Adrianza should be let go when Polanco comes back. I don't think we miss Polanco at all if Sano is healthy. Polanco is not a good fielder either.
  24. Rogers really needs to be sent down with Duffey.
