This Duffey guy seems often let inherited runners to score. I bet other pitchers don't appreciate that.
  2. jun
Polanco is at least consistent at getting an error instead of a hit every game lately.
  3. jun
Gibson should have been pulled as soon as he allowed the single.
  4. jun
Both Breslow and Pressly should be demoted and Busenitz should be called up.
  5. jun
If Polanco does not start at SS most of the time, we should not have a hitting hole at SS.
  6. jun
Pressly, Breslow and Duffey are all terrible. Bosher is inconsistent.
  7. jun
I am sorry to say Pressly should be sent down for the rest of the season.
  8. jun
I do NOT want to see Pressly pitch for the Twins anymore this season. Call up Busenitz and send him down please.

I think Escobar is a good major league player. He can play multiple positions if the team needs. He is NOT UTILITY PLAYER BY DEFAULT. He should have consistent playing time at his most comfortable position. I think he is the most underrated and underappreciated player on this roster.

I think they just want to give Polanco consistent playing time to see if he can handle SS, so far it's not good. I just don't see the reason why they have no faith in Escobar's defense at SS.

Rogers is dependable and efficient. I really thought he should be an all star

Future minor league hall of famer?
  13. jun
I think Granite should be sent down when Buxton returns. Polanco should be a bench player for the rest of the season.
  14. jun
Another strikeout with running on second and none out for Polanco. He couldn't even move the runner to 3rd. Absolutely worthless.
  15. jun
Molitor is too slow to react. Not a good sign.
  16. jun
I don't know how many times Rogers had to come in to save this Duffey man, he constantly could not get out of the inning.
  17. jun
This Duffey man again, geez. One of the worst relievers lately. I guess Molitor just keeps running his men (Polanco and Duffey) out there no matter what.
  18. jun
Granite should not bat second and Polanco should not start.
  19. jun
I wonder why Polanco did not bunt when 3 on and none out twice.
  20. jun
Escobar would look very good at SS tonight, Polanco has a DP (3 on), strikeout (3 on) and a worthless bunt single (0 on) so far.
  21. jun
Polanco looks more and more like Danny Santana.
  22. jun
I would like to see Polanco sent down to AAA instead of Granite after the break. Polanco has been worse than Buxton offensively lately. His avg is slightly better than Buxton with little power. He has been consistently bad defensively. Granite deserves to play more games at major league level.

Duffey is way overrated. Molitor just keeps sending him in close game which he obviously cannot handle right now. Well what do we know? They still keep Pressly and Belisle on the roster
  25. jun
This is the starting lineup I would like to see next season. 1. Mauer (1B) 2. Grossman (DH) 3. Sano (3B) 4. Kepler (RF) 5. Rosario (LF) 6. Escobar (2B) 7. Gordon (SS) 8. Garver © 9. Buxton (CF) Bench: Granite Castro Vargas Polanco
