    I am sorry to say Gimenez is not a proven winner by any means. Gimenez cannot hit and play below average defense. (3PB in one game).Vargas is not making much and is a good power threat and I think he is coming back.

    The offense is good, I don't think the Twins need to add any veteran hitter next season. 1b: Mauer 2b: Dozier 3b: Sano SS: Polanco CF: Buxton LF: Rosario RF: Kepler C: Castro DH: Grossman Bench: Escobar Vargas Garver Adrianza or Granite Gimenez should not return and Goodrum is not ready. The Twins really need to address pitching during the off season, especially the bullpen. The starting pitching is legit. Santana, Berrios, Gibson, Mejia and Slegers might be fine. Bullpen candidate: Rogers, Hildenberger, Busenitz, Moya, Gee, Belisle, Hughes and some effective veterans.

    I think the success is really due to the offense and defense and a few brilliant starts from Berrios and Santana. Molitor is a below average manager. Bullpen is really a mess.

    I really hope Molitor would manage elsewhere next season. Sometimes his decision does not make any baseball sense. Pressly and Duffey should not pitch in any close game. Perkins, Boshers and Turley should not be on any major league roster. Tonkin and Curtiss can not be trusted. This bullpen is probably the worst in the league right now.

    Of the three, Polanco is the worst fielder and best hitter, Adrianza is the best fielder and worst hitter, Escobar should have the most pop and his fielding and speed are both adequate.

    Adrianza is slightly better at fielding, but he is a weak bat and has no power, he should never be in the starting lineup of any major league team. Escobar is an average fielder, he can definitely start against left-handed pitchers. Escobar over Adrianza, no doubt about it.

    Escobar should be at least an average fielder. He is not making as many errors as Polanco though.

    Without good bullpen and clutch bat, there would be plenty of 'oh so close' games.

    I don't really want the Twins to sign Belisle and Colon for next season though. Colon is too old to remain effective all season and Belisle is too inconsistent and hittable.

    Gee has been an issue for only two games. Duffey has been the problem for most of the season though.

    Now the White Sox closer looks more like Belisle. Similar ERA.

    Rosario is a natural #3 hitter, Sano should be the cleanup guy to protect him.

    It really sounds funny to let a guy with an ERA of 4.62 to close during the wild card race this late in the season.

    I don't think the Twins should even think about signing Belisle. I usually don't feel good about the chance of winning when he is on the mound.

    Buddy Boshers and Nik Turley should not be called up due to their poor performance in the big leagues.

    The Twins should be building around Buxton, Sano, Rosario, Polanco, Kepler, Berrios and Mejia. Get as much good pitching as possible. Get a good hitting catcher. Get a good hitting right-handed bat. I think this team is ready for the big stage now.

    Duffey and Pressly only deserve mop-up duty. Perkins should not be on major league roster.

    I don't see the need to add Dereck Rodriguez to the 40 man. He has not been impressive. Save the spot for whoever deserves it.

    Gibson keeps throwing junk and White Sox hitters keeps swinging at them. Good teams would be a lot more patient and Gibson might not get out of those jams.

    Gibson just can't get any major league players out now.

    I predicted Turley would be one of those AAAA player when he was called back up. I guess I am definitely right. Turley does not belong in the big leagues. Melville might have better stuff than Turley. Both are just AAAA players like ABW.
